Every year matters. Every hour matters. Every half a degree matters. We need ambitious #ClimateAction if we are to limit #GlobalWarming to 1.5˚C. 💪🏻🌏#WWFClimatea@IPCC_CH_@UNEPNE@COP26P#TogetherForOurPlanetn@ambishhhh@SoundVidV@WWFLeadClimatea#COP26Glasgowgow
Why does half a degree of #GlobalWarming matter? 1.5˚C = 1 bil people exposed to #Heatwaves every 5 years 2˚C = 2.7 bil people exposed to heatwaves every 5 years Every half a degree matters. #WWFClimate @IPCC_CH @UNEP #COP26

Bring back nature to protect our future! Conserving #biodiversity and protecting #habitats are integral to combatting #climatechange. #CoP26 #COP26Glasgow  #TogetherForOurPlanet
Do you want to combat climate change? Protect natural #habitats. #Forests & #wetlands, especially #mangroves & other marshy wetlands, grasslands & even agricultural farms capture & store #greenhouse gases into the soil. These help slow down or even halt #climatechange. #CoP26
#Indians traditionally have understood the importance of #biodiversity. Now is the time to be aware of the direct role it can play in combatting #climate change. Our time tested respect for different living forms can help maintain biodiversity. #COP26 #COP26Glasgow
Climate change is a global problem but all solutions must be local! #India is one of the most bio-diverse countries in the world. Every action taken to protect #nature & #biodiversity, goes a long way to help combat #climatechange. #COP26 #COP26Glasgow
Climate change is a direct result of global warming! Catastrophic reactions can range from melting glaciers causing sudden floods to intense, frequent cyclones. Impact on natural rhythm of dry & wet spells unleashes severe disasters. Protect #nature, combat #climatechange. #CoP26

⏰ Each passing day highlights just how much the #ClimateCrisis is already impacting our world.  🗣#COP266 is our best chance to tackle#climatechangee.#TogtherForOurPlanett#COP26Glasgoww4
COP26 is critical. All countries must act together to tackle the #ClimateCrisis. Let us track our actions to meet the goals of the Paris Agreement. #ClimateAction #COP26 #COP26Glasgow
So what exactly is in the #ParisAgreement? Simply put, it is a global treaty on #climatechange. Governments pledged to keep the rise in global average temperatures to well below 2°C - preferably 1.5°C - above pre-industrial levels. 🌡#COP266#COP26Glasgoww#climatee
At #COP21, the #ParisAgreement was agreed upon by almost all the countries in the world. 🌎🌍🌏 This is vital & the pledges made as part of that agreement are going to be some of the main talking points this yea#COP26Glasgowg#COPC#COP26PDsz
#COP stands for ‘Conference of the Parties”. It’s the annual UN #climatechange conference, where governments get together to make crucial decisions for our planet. This is the 26th conference, which will be held in #Glasgow 🤝#COP26GlasgowwU
You’ve probably heard people talk about #COP26, seen it on your feed or watched it make #headlines in the #news recently. But what actually is it? And why does it matter? Let’s take a closer look. 👇OP
