It devastated all of us. If my involvement in The Real Full Monty encourages even just one person to get checked out sooner than they otherwise would have done, and thereby avoid the pain and suffering that David and his family have gone through,
I'm doing The Real Full Monty in memory of my best mate of 35 years, David Hughes. He was the same age as me, and 6 years ago he was diagnosed with Bowel cancer. Two years later, aged 54, he died, leaving a wife and two teenage daughters. (Rest of story below)
