We are disappointed with the portrayal of wild horses in this past Sunday’s recent 60 Minutes episode. The American public was misled by ill-informed journalism portraying wild horses as the main reason for land degradation.

And it’s bullsh*t. Because first of all, audiences are kinder than we think, people on the street pay far less attention to us than we imagine and ultimately, our bodies are just containers holding the experience that is YOU.

I know what it’s like now to feel shame or embarrassment about how I look.
After DMX and same-day reconstruction for #BreastCancer, I worked my ass off to get my body back to DOING but was hiding in the corner of the dressing room, thinking I would actually frighten people if they saw the trauma on my chest.
My mom never once commented on my or her own physique growing up. That, coupled with a devotion to dance with far more interest in what my body could DO than how it looked, translated as a rare adult woman who never felt self-conscious about her body.
