@DrHaluska @DeborahMonroe08 ZERO surprise. At universities in general, studies I’ve seen conclude that an insanely high of the revenue from tuition increases are attributable to admin budgets.

@Randy1116 @kayakendall @PegLulu2 Yes, there are height studies going back to, I think, Ohio State in the ‘50s.

@tom_peters @kayakendall @PegLulu2 There are studies on this. And, it is confirmed. But, forgive me, I don’t remember the book in which I read about it. - I know that Malcolm Gladwell has a section on height and U.S. presidents. They are taller than the population at large.

@tom_peters I once had a CEO of a medical organization tell me “We do not pander to the human.” Can you imagine?! That was a major turning point in my career path. #EmpathyCommunity

@MylesSuer @mzyw @dhinchcliffe @Tiffani_Bova @cxotalk I’d like to see 50-50 male-female balance in IT. I’d suspect it’s an arena where men dominate.

WTTMSW (Whoever Tries The Most Stuff Wins). It’s as simple as that. WTTMSW demands a culture of “serious play.” A playful organization is not the norm (understatement!). Become fully immersed in the topic of innovation to learn more. #tomoninnovation ^HB udemy.com/course/course-…
@BTOMConsultants @Adam_Karpiak Fully agree on this. We need less virtue signaling and more execution on the benefits that matter to employees. btw, hate the term "assets" when referring to employees. It makes them sound like numbers on a spreadsheet. @tom_peters has a who rant on this #PeopleFirst

@BTOMConsultants @Adam_Karpiak @tom_peters Double-edge sword in HR ⚔️ Words matter to employees. Leaders need to take it more seriously. One company I worked for used "People Services" instead of "Human Resources." They were voted "Best company to work for" 10+ years in a row.

The idea that these vaccines came out of nowhere is a failure of science communication with tragic results. They're the result of DECADES of basic research in MULTIPLE fields building on the BREADTH and DEPTH of human knowledge. That’s how science works. And it's awe inspiring.

@matthewjdowd @CNN Thank you for being the voice of so many viewers who have been frustrated with the Biden bashing and lack of context in the past week’s coverage. This withdrawal was never going to be easy. I also think something(s) occurred that we’ve yet to learn.

@matthewjdowd @CNN Armchair critics have not thought through "If I were in charge, I'd done it different" It is above my security clearance to 2nd guess Afghanistan, the WH, the world! Heck, I can barely keep up with what's happening in my household! IMO, Biden got stuck picking up the check.

@matthewjdowd @JJohnsonLaw @CNN It is hard to maintain respect for so many in media who have seized on this story to show they can be hard on a Democrat. Who said bupkis when Pompeo cut his corrupt deal with the Taliban.

@matthewjdowd @CNN As Megyn Kelly once said, “It doesn’t matter if Obama fixes 98 things out of 100 - I can program a month of shows on the two that remain.”

As I said on @CNN this morning many in the media have not had perspective on Afghanistan. For example more than 20000 people have been evacuated from there without a single loss of an American life. At same time 5000 Americans have died from Covid and 500 have died from guns.

@evanwolf @tom_peters @AmericasNavy @USNavyCNO @NavyMCPON Bad. But I am more concerned that the culture has still not changed to include women as full equals and normal members of our Navy in every way and not “others” (trailblazers, exceptions, etc). That culture is why we can’t defeat SA/SH.
