An explosive device exploded in a car in Jisr Al-Shughour, west of Idlib, this morning. A #WhiteHelmets team immediately rushed to the scene to extinguish the fire from the explosion, inspect the location, and ensure there were no casualties.
Omar was injured when a storm destroyed his tent in northern #Syria yesterday. He has lived with his uncle since his father was killed by the regime's bombing of his village in Jabal al-Zawiya, #Idlib. His uncle is trying to repair their tent which is their last resort.

The decrease in #COVID-19 casualties in northern #Syria doesn't mean the threat of the pandemic has disappeared. We must continue with preventive measures, social distancing, and wearing masks. The #WhiteHelmets continue to sterilize public facilities & camps, & raise awareness.

A massive fire was extinguished after midnight in #Tarhin town in #Aleppo countryside in northern #Syria, after it broke out in a makeshift fuel refinery. The White Helmets managed to control the fire after 3 hours of continuous work without recording any casualties.
As part of our continuous service provision, the #WhiteHelmets teams continue their operations to remove the rubble from the main roads in some cities and towns near #Ariha in the south of #Idlib, with the purpose of helping returning civilians and supporting their stability.
On #InternationalDayOfEducation, while the world is striving in every way to support children to obtain their education, millions of children in #Syria remain deprived of their right to education because of the war and the military campaigns of the regime and Russia.
The direct attacks of Russia and regime on schools have always been the biggest obstacle to the continuation of education in #Syria. #WhiteHelmets have documented during the past two years more than 133 attacks on schools, have caused many casualties among students and teachers.
Even though the rainstorm ended, the #WhiteHelmets continue their emergency operations in the IDP camps in northern #Syria. In addition to providing service operations and assistance to civilians after more than 3200 families in over 225 camps have been affected. #MuddyCamps
On #InternationalDayOfEducation, we celebrate all the heroic teachers who struggle and sacrifice their lives to continue the education process for children in #Syria, despite the long years of war and unjustified attacks that have always targeted schools directly.

On #WorldEducationDay we reflect not only on the stolen education of our #Syria'n children but their stolen potential. More than 450 children lost their lives in 2019 to Russia and the regime attacks in 2019, while more than 133 children were killed in 2020 despite the ceasefire.
On #InternationalDayOfEducation, a smile shows gratitude for learning despite the student's makeshift classroom in this N. #Syria'n camp. For many children in the world education is a luxury. Today we honor the Syrian teachers for their dedication & the students for commitment.
Two huge fires were extinguished by the #WhiteHelmets firefighter teams today in #Syria, one of them broke out in a civilian house and another in a fuel shop in northwestern #Idlib. The teams managed to control the fires without recording any casualties.
A White Helmet is interrupted in his campaign of posting corona education posters in #Syria by a feisty feline. She is not so worried about coronavirus but she appreciates a quick snuggle before going on her way again.
