I only just started watching this is us (I’m on season 2) but there’s a movie called “life itself” that without exaggeration I can say is my favorite movie and it was coincidentally made by the same writers from @ThisIsUsWriters
Negative self-talk produces physiological stress in the body and raises cortisol, among other things. So not only can we feel happier and mentally lighter when we retrain the brain towards love and acceptance, we are creating better whole-body health at the same time.
Why did it take me so long to start watching #ThisIsUs ?! My favorite movie is actually “Life Itself” which is made by the same makers. I’m convinced I must see anything made by Dan Fogelman!
I can’t be the only one... but this season of @Stranger_Things has me praying before and after each episode so I don’t convince myself the devil is trying to take over my body 😇😂
Remember, it’s typically not the salt, sugar, or other ingredients that you add to your home-cooked meals that pose a problem. It’s the salt, sugar, bad fats, and unpronounceable toxic ingredients that food companies add to their food that damage your health.
When we cook, we not only nourish our bodies and souls, but we also rebuild our communities, strengthen the bonds within our families and it’s fun! What will you be cooking tonight?
I’m a better person when I moisturize like my life depends on it✨ I like to think I’m freezing time every time I moisturize🥶 NEW SKIN ROUTINE—>youtu.be/zQaDFcS6LOIyb
I hope when my babies get older, they never feel afraid or hesitant to call me or talk to me about their problems. I want them to feel safe being vulnerable with me but also sure that they can get the help they need by just talking to me with honesty.
We don’t always have to be positive and find the silver lining, in fact, evolutionarily it serves us to acknowledge uncomfortable emotions so that we can effectively adapt and shape our experiences.
Maybe it’s my parents Latino generation that gives the worse advice to their children and they just aren’t aware of how wrong they are? With all due respect, I just can’t trust my parents judgement and advice with my personal feelings and life problems.
Is it just my parents... or are your parents the worse person to talk to when you’re in a dark, negative or tough situation? I rather speak to my husband, a close friend, or even a stranger about my problems than be vulnerable with my parents.
First time @Mrs_AlbaRamos tried Rizos Curls and it went like this 😍✨
“Out of all these products I absolutely LOVED the vitamin C deep conditioner the most! It was instantly softening and deeply hydrating my hair. I was not expecting that. That deep conditioner is a 10! ✅”T
I know several men who are victims of domestic violence. They feel ashamed to discuss their abuse, fear being disbelieved, made fun of or emasculated.
It is inspiring to see Johnny Depp stand in the face of that as a male DV victim & bravely tell the world the truth.

Listen... stop repeating things like “I hate Monday’s!” without analyzing the truth. Do you actually hate Monday’s or are you just living for Weekend? #ThinkAboutit 🤔
Rhythm is key because your hormones are balanced in rhythms. So, waking at the same time every day, going to bed at the same time every day, eating at the same time every day—these are the rhythms in life that help to reset your natural balance.
It's funny hearing people arguing about simulation theory.
Look around you - what do you see?
- Fast food
- Porn
- Video games
Here's what I see:
- Artificial food
- Artificial sexual experiences
- Artificial adventures
The simulation is already here.
Unplug yourselves.
I never understand how anyone can actually keep up with all the 800 people they’re following. I try not to follow more than 300 people on IG. And even that is too much. Am I alone in this?
