Folks we are two days away from what many* are calling the most important moment in a generation: the release of Stone Spirit Shroud Hazy Double IPA.
(*Ok fine literally nobody is saying that. But the beer is legitimately amazing.)
Available at shop.stonebrewing.com/sb-beer at exactly 10am PT next Thursday and all Stone Brewing locations at the moment they open for normal business hours.
(Online orders ship to CA addresses only, but you'll see new states opening up for delivery on future releases!)
As the name implies, we brew one tank-full of this beer and then it's gone. We sold through our online allotment in 24 hours on the last one, and our Tap Rooms sold out of their cans within days of release. Consider yourself warned.
This is a 9.8% easy drinking double IPA. You read that right.
So smooth & drinkable, you'd have a hard time believing it's just under 10%. It's loaded with with intense flavors and aromas from a massive hop bill for a bold yet somehow also delightfully mellow taste.

Available now in SoCal (but headed nationwide soon), this 7.5% new creation is what our brewers describe as an off-dry style, meaning it fits that perfect spot between a sweeter, full-bodied hazy IPA and a crisp, dry West Coast IPA.

On some rare occasions, it actually DOES rain in San Diego County. This was earlier in the week from one of the docks of our distribution headquarters in San Marcos, CA. The Gargoyle is unfazed, of course.
And if you haven't picked up this one in a while, let this be your invitation! Our brewers did an incredible job of making this subtle adjustment to bring it from an amazing beer to an even amazing-er one.

We recently tweaked the hop bill in this beer to even better accentuate the whole tangerine and pineapple, while maintaining the complex hop flavors and aromas. It's still the same beer, just the best version of itself.
If you've enjoyed some Stone Tangerine Express Hazy IPA lately and thought to yourself "Man, this might be the best this beer has ever been", you're right!

Born in 1997, still winning awards. We're honored (and yeah, pretty damn proud) to have Stone IPA win the gold medal at the US Open Beer Championship in the @USOpenBeerChamp! That West Coast IPA category is a special one for us.
