Sindhkhed village, Motala bagged the 2nd prize in the 2018 Water Cup Competition. Recently, they were felicitated for winning the 1st prize in the Amravati division in the 'Majhi Vasundhara' competition organised by the Maharashtra Government.

Farmer Cup Villages Celebrate Vat Purnima!
In 5 villages of Sangamner taluka, villagers planted 100s of trees to celebrate Vat Purnima. It was a joyous occasion, also marked by women taking a pledge to take up group farming in the future. We salute these modern-day eco warriors!

Sant Kale Maharaj Soyabean Shetkari Gat from Kharangana village, Arvi taluka recently purchased their soyabean seeds in bulk, together as a group. This has led to them saving ₹250 per bag, ₹10,000 in total!

This is what the youth of Shahada taluka are saying after participating in the Satyamev Jayate Farmer Cup Training.
Let us hear their experience.
Week on week, these 'schools' will be hosted to ensure that farmers get access to scientific research, practices and knowledge to improve their yields. This weekend, the lamp of knowledge has been ignited. This lamp will go on to illuminate the path towards economic prosperity.
Thousands more joined via their phones. Experts from Mahatma Phule Krishi Vidyapeeth, Rahuri, as well as Vasantrao Naik Marathwada Krishi Vidyapeeth, Parbhani, interacted with the farmers, answered many questions and shared crucial SOPs for soyabean and cotton cultivation.
Like a community movie night, many villages set up a projector, screen and sound system, and screened the sheti shala live for the benefit of soyabean and cotton farming groups. Rallies were hosted to encourage more farmers to join, and rangolis welcomed the participants.
In thousands, villagers participated in the first ever Digital Sheti Shalas for Soyabean and Cotton respectively, which Paani Foundation had organised as part of the Farmer Cup.
