Tip for those of you who are people pleasers: saying, "let me think about it," is your best friend. You likely want to immediately go along with something at your own expense, but saying this allows you to give a response on the spot without exhaustion and overcommitment.
These hard times, this pain you feel, and these lessons you're learning will one day be your strength, awareness, and blessings.
I don’t ignore haters on social media because I wouldn’t let you get away with it in the streets and I for damn sure ain’t gonna let you get away with it online! I’m a positive thinking person, but this world has gotten out of hand, and I’m done letting sh*t slide! You know?
When your first thoughts are to think negatively about people who are happy with who they are, it shows more of how you feel about your life rather than expressing what you think about theirs.
The funny thing about parenting 4yr olds is when they ask, “Papa, do you want to play with me?” The answer in my head is “NO! I’d rather take a nap with you”! 🤣 But I say yes instead and play legos for the 10th time that day!#dadlifee

The physical results will change, and you'll get stronger but love yourself from the beginning first! Worry less about the scale and focus more on your mental readiness. Worry less about counting calories and eat less processed junk. Lastly, follow a plan!
We're all on a journey, we're just in different places. Here's a few things in my 35-days of progress: Mentally ready, now mentally fit. 222 lbs. 18% body fat, now 214 lbs. 12.5%, Leg Press 4 plates, now 12 Plates, I loved myself then, I love myself now.

One of the biggest mistakes we can make is allowing others (friends, family, bosses) to have control over our emotions and reactions. This leads to so much unnecessary stress and anxiety. Trust that gut feeling that knows what's right for you and only you.

Some celebrate weight loss, but I’m marking weight gain. Despite gaining weight and processing that mentally, I’ve also gained a tremendous amount of knowledge from my trainer. Mentally, I feel better & stronger than I ever. Remember, fit doesn't have a size; it has a mentality.
What inspires me most about fitness is the human ability to realize that you can do hard things. Breaking down & rebuilding your body is a lesson I teach in my workouts because I want you to learn you can overcome the same barriers when they present themselves in your life.
When you’re at a restaurant and your kids have their ipads and earphones on so you use the word “Fucking” and one of the kids screams “Did you just say the word Fucking?” 😂😂 I told him, “You can say that at home but not in public!” 😂😂

What bothers me most is that there are other parents out there who know they are giving their kids their best but they are actually accepting of others' critiques when instead, you should be telling people to stay in their own backyard!
