If you go to #PlatinumJubilee events, look around. Millions of #disabled and clinically vulnerable people aren't there because they've been excluded by the event organisers failing to make their events safe. We are the victims of #CovidDiscrimination.
As a low paid carer looking after my beautiful disabled daughter & on behalf of the millions of fellow unpaid carers I am sick of hearing of a “celebration” where billions is being spent on a woman, who, like society in general, doesn’t know we exist.
#JubileeCelebration
Those of us affected the MOST will get the LEAST help! There should be a full investigation of @CarersUK policy right now, we can't sit back and watch millions of £'ssssss being spent off our backs in donations with the end result being this. On line coffee doesn't pay the bills! twitter.com/Disabled_Carer…
Stranger on bus: “Good for you. You don’t let that wheelchair hold you back.”
Wheelchairs don’t hold disabled people back.
Inaccessibility, lack of accommodation and ableism hold disabled people back.
We should never be commenting on a person’s body
.. AND being pregnant does not give anyone an excuse to make these comments either … whether too big or too small it is no-ones business!
… yes we have a bump but breaking news we are growing a human in us!
“No rules were broken”
“Well, some rules may have been broken”
“Ohhhh yeah I remember, that rule was broken. Oopsie”
“Yes, I am responsible for THEM breaking the rules”
The rules state you must resign.
So what are you going to do Prime Minister?
“Erm…change the rules OBVS!”
So he’s rewritten the ministerial code, to make it even easier to be a Tory [email protected]!! What the actual fuck? Fascism on display for all to see and his followers will still think he’s funny, bumbling Boris 🤬#GTTOO#Dictatorshipp
I love connecting with other pro-EU people! I’ll follow back anyone who thinks Brexit was a mistake and we’re stronger in the EU than out 🇪#foreverEuropeana#FBPEP#followbackfridayay

Johnson’s strategy for the last 24 hours:
I did nothing wrong, but I’ll say sorry as you’re making me, though everything I did was fine.
You’re still angry? Here’s some money that I’ve been saying for 6 months we can’t afford to give you. Now will you shut up.
Me: no.
Brexit: 🇪🇺
We were told a deal with the EU would definitely be done.
We were told very little would change after Brexit.
We were told, no borders in the island of Ireland.
We were told the EU would be queuing to do a deal.
We were told lots of stuff.
Turns out it was all B******5G
The measure of the success of a society is how it protects its most vulnerable. How those in need are helped, how inequality is addressed.
Our government has made things markedly worse for the most vulnerable.
#DisabledNotDisposable
#DisabledNotDisposable Throughout the pandemic disabled people have been treated as if our lives don't matter. Our deaths were dismissed in news reports as 'having underlying conditions'. We are not protected from Covid. It's shameful.
Really important perspective here from @rachelmewes1982 - it’s great the government is recognising that disabled people are hit hardest by the energy crisis, but £150 is a drop in the ocean. chroniclelive.co.uk/news/cost-of-l…
Three in five Brits say Boris Johnson should resign after publication of Sue Gray's report, according to a snap @YouGov poll.
And 74% believe that the PM knowingly lied about breaking lockdown rules, including a majority of Tory voters.
The thing that really pisses me off about the cost of living is that it seems like people shouldn’t get to enjoy life if they’re not rich. Work more hours, eat the bare minimum, basic food. We shouldn’t be forcing people just to survive.
Stop trying to be a pillar in your community. Pillars crack and crumble under enough stress.
Aim to be a part of the foundation because a solid foundation is the key to building something that lasts.
The PM could be photographed on a rocking horse, dressed as Stalin, drinking neat gin from a glass sculpture of a food bank and Michael Fabricant will say 'I know some teachers who did that' and that will be that because nothing matters.
@PaulBrandITV@itvnews How can Johnson say he didn't know about the parties, he's literally standing there with a bloody drink in his hand.
And 'all the rules were followed'!
All the rules were fricking well broken.
While we, the little people, kept to the rules.
We have a lying lawbreaking prime minister, propped up by a party of bastards, inadequates and sellouts, excused by an ugly and dishonest RW press… all pretending this is a functioning government rather than an utterly unforgivable disaster.
It’s just all so fucking shabby.
If you see a blue badge space being used NOT for its intended purpose. I.e being used as extra cafe and restaurant space, being used as “temporary” parking for a worker etc. Please say something. Please be a good ally and make it known it’s harming disabled people
BREAKING: Downing Street now say that the Prime Minister's office *did* request his meeting with Sue Gray, despite all the briefings, and statements by ministers to the contrary over the past 24 hours.
If you know you’re going on #Hunted wouldn’t you delete your social media accounts? Better still set up a fake trail on them to confuse the Hunters. Unless it’s a rule that you can’t delete #Facebook#Instagram#Twitter.

Do you trust the #SueGrayReport?
The government insists the Prime Minister has not interfered in the long-awaited report, due to be published this week.
But after Boris Johnson met with Ms. Gray to discuss her findings, some fear it will be a whitewash.
Do you trust it?
If books were written like this it would make it so much easier to read. I love reading but takes me so long to get through a book because of the concentration levels needed. twitter.com/artsngrafts/st…
We talked a lot about clients who “over-identified” with labels and now I think this perspective is very one-sided. Such identities can be beneficial: camaraderie with others of shared identity, self-acceptance and understanding, etc.
I definitely think there is a connection between the absence of disability awareness in the curriculum and the presence of ableism in the counseling program I attended.
I wonder what my confidence would be like in the absence of ableism. I spent most of my life blaming myself for my disabilities. In the end, what it took was overt, obvious ableism to see all the subtle ableism which I’ve subconsciously internalized. #DisabilityTwitter
Inclusion isn't inviting a child, with a learning disability, to an event and expecting them to cope with your agenda. It isn't expecting them to be around prejudiced people. It isn't then making out it's their fault they can't attend. That's exclusion. #ableism#inclusion
Imagine what the money Brexit is costing us could have actually done for the NHS.
If it was money they were able to find to pay for leaving the EU, they should have been able to find it for our mental health services all along.
Here's some of the things the Tories privatised.
Imagine how much better we'd be able to respond to the cost-of-living crisis if they were still in public ownership.

The "your child has poor attendance letter" arrived yesterday.
Yes. I know. It's because she got Covid at your school because there were & are absolutely no safety measures in place.
Why has Covid absence been retrospectively lumped in with the rest? We followed the rules!
Does @nadhimzahawi really think public will believe PM’s “reassurances” that he wouldn’t try to influence Sue Gray report? If the meeting between them is as straightforward as he claims, why not simply tell us who called the meeting & what was discussed? #SundayMorning
