My husband saw this on Fbook as several photo shoots take place in our locality. This was opp our house. While he raved on & on about the EType fully restored 1961 Jaguar, I retorted that Wow the bougainvillea behind it is so vibrant, the plant lover that I am! He was 😩 🤣9me
My late dad, instilled strong values, a love of nature & languages. His photo stays above my piano. We lost him to cancer, but a dream came true, in our Fundraising concert for Indus hospitals Children's Cancer ward with his blessings touching many. @IHHN_PK #FathersDay2022
It is already a year when @SanaaTauseef , film maker & friend visited Lady Dufferin Hospital on an extremely hot day with my group. The era of masking up plus the heat did not deter all these kind people in what has been one of our most successful fundraisers. @TheLadyDufferin
Yes I agree ! Tis the season to be Jolly ! Nothing like gorging on mangoes, more mangoes and home made vanilla ice cream. Recipe from my mum's diary compiled in 1988 in Mumbai before I got married in Karachi. Food in both countries is a joy. #indopakfiles #mangoes #summer twitter.com/ayeshabq/statu…

Lots of people, particularly Pakistanis, are commenting on my kimchi recipe. They say that it looks delicious but they have never experienced it. My response to them is that if you’re a foodie, you need to embrace a variety of cuisine type. This gives you a broader perspective. twitter.com/ShaziahZ/statu…

My dads been a big believer of the Punjabi brotherhood. No matter where we are in the world, a fellow Punjabi is family. Just thrilled I was able to take that sentiment into my work and feature Pakistani Sikhs in my new campaign - and deservedly so!

A superb read by @SuDharmapala spanning three countries. A story centred around the weaving of a saree, with true to life events which culminate in a finale. Each chapter represents the stages in one of the finest costumes of our subcontinent/ world. #Reading #libertybooks
Like turning a page in a book, each day is a new beginning. Goodmorning from our garden in Karachi. #GardeningTwitter #nature #birdsong #gardens #plants
As I work on an embroidered runner, I marvel at the patience & skill of those who worked on items years back. The saree border was worked by my grand aunt in Mumbai. Vintage bags in petit point are another example of patient labour in an art that is frankly dying out.

So I have been toying with the idea of a small book cafe outside #Ooty. Very rustic with a fireplace, lots of glass and wood, with indoor and outdoor seating. If one does not want to read, one can always get lost in this view. 1/2 #Nilgiris #Hilltop #bookcafe

Thankyou @Dr_Raks Rakshinda for appreciating the role of us Women in a male dominated society. There are many unnamed, inspirational women out there doing massive work for society. I am but a drop in the ocean. However thankyou for this ! twitter.com/dr_rakhshinda/…
I always feel friendly Bohri Bazaar is a pleasure to visit despite the malls that Karachi boasts. The kind shopkeepers, the colourful items, from textiles, laces to utensils is a treat. A joy for embroidery & knitting lovers like me. Went for 5 mins, returned after an hour !
A thrilling movie, a wild ride, unbelievable high flying stunts, fantastic @TomCruise stunning visual effects & @TopGunMovie Maverick was worth the wait ! A must see for those who love suspense action. As for @TomCruise he just gets better each time !
Someone refuses to budge & is enjoying the coolness of the newly watered soil. We have an abundance of stray cats and beautiful birds who take shade in our garden from the excruciating heat. Within an hour, the waterpans for them run dry #animalsneedwater #birdsneedwater #heat
Still thinking about the time my white Texan roommate said her mom would never let her visit Pakistan because it’s a “terrorist nation where she can get killed” ma’am I hope you’ve checked your own backyard recently

Life’s just so fleeting - and cruel 😰. Less than 10 days ago we were celebrating Tito’s birthday. It was intimate and joyous, and raucous. This morning he’s no more. Passed away in his sleep. He bravely managed his dialysis - typically without fuss. RIP Tito.@titojournoo

In Pakistan, the new government has pursued charges against journalists, raided opposition leader homes, and banned a planned opposition protest. These are dangerous politics at the worst possible time, as the economy teeters on collapse. The gov’t may be digging its own grave.

A garden is not a place but a journey as my late father taught me in Mumbai. Years later he loved my Karachi garden & I continue enjoying nature. Sowed the Zenia saplings in early April.Voilà they are a delight ! Rightly said, As you sow, you shall reap ! #indopakfiles #garden
It is such a pleasure for Terence Joseph and me to work & perform with Azad Iqbal, grandson of Allama Iqbal. A maestro, gifted in both Eastern & Western Music skills, he is a true legend. Morning coffee & music ! Getting ready for our next fundraiser for SOS Village, Karachi.
