Diwali was celebrated with immense zeal as celebrations ended yesterday as the New Year dawned. These pictures were shared by our Hindu friends who visited the Hanuman Mandir in Karachi. The largest temple which draws massive crowds is at Clifton, near the sea. #Diwali2022

My husband Percy and I visited @NichPakistan for whom we had hosted our first Online fundraiser, viewed worldwide during lockdown. It was a pleasure seeing our art walls however the young patients overload is massive after the floods. They need donations to survive.
My American friends told me that they could handle spicy Pakistani #food but they couldn’t handle bread and rice everyday. I told them that they should get help from my book, as it provides a myriad of options to enjoy a meal without bread or rice. #cook #book

Love these cushions I hurriedly purchased in Istanbul. I was getting late for the Bosphorus tour. A last minute buy ! They look like paintings and their colours haven't faded. Specially love the serenity of the lady sitting & sewing. Some travel souvenirs last for years !
