God did not design us to be reservoirs, He designed us to be rivers. For a reservoir to not become stagnant, it must have two things: water flowing in and water flowing out. Worship and the Word (flowing in) and witnessing (flowing out) is how you return to your first love.
The letter to Ephesus (Revelation 2:1–7) teaches that truth and love must go together. A church that upholds doctrinal purity at the expense of showing love is just as flawed as a church that upholds love at the expense of truth.

Last weekend, I started a new series at @GatewayPeople by encouraging people to return to their first love. When our love has grown cold, we reignite it by worshipping in the Lord’s presence, spending time in His Word & witnessing His love to others.…

Give your burdens to God. Prayer is an exchange of the burden. If you pray and you're still burdened, then you didn't pray, you just griped.
I am excited to start a new series this weekend at @GatewayPeople about the seven churches of Revelation. Join us in person or online at

If you have the day off work, I hope you enjoy your day and do something fun. I also encourage you to take a moment and reflect on all the good things God has done for you and thank Him for His abundant blessings in your life. #HappyLaborDay #LaborDay
Prayer is not a duty. It’s a privilege. God doesn’t want us to feel like we have to pray. We get to pray. We get to talk with and take our problems and desires to the Creator of the universe!

Are you facing a need today? Or perhaps you look around at a world facing countless needs. Take all the needs weighing on you and lay them at the feet of Jesus in exchange for His peace.
Jesus destroyed the person who brought death into the world.
He’s going to tell you what a bad person you were and how you weren’t there for them. He’s going to remind you, “You should have said this and you didn’t say this.” Don’t get angry and agitated at God or yourself because a person died. Get angry and agitated at Satan! (2/2)
When someone dies, be careful with regrets. You might think Satan would leave you alone during this time and have respect for you. He has NONE. (1/2)
It’s times like these when the Church can rise up and share the hope we have in Jesus. We are in contact with our ministry partners on the ground in areas affected by Hurricane Ida. We’ll keep you updated with what’s going on and how you can help.
It’s not only normal to be sad, to mourn & to grieve when someone dies, it’s normal to be agitated & angry. Just make sure you’re agitated at the right person. Don’t be angry & agitated at the One who overcomes death Be angry & agitated at the one who brought death into the world
It's okay to be sad when someone passes away, even someone who was a believer. You don’t have to put on a happy face because you’re a Christian. You don’t have to deny your feelings. It’s also okay to be grateful you’re going to see this person again, but it’s also okay to be sad
What am I supposed to do with my life? In the series, Why Am I Here?, @PsRobertMorris answers some of humanity’s most common questions and talks about our God-given purpose. Watch mornings on TBN at 11:30 am (CT). Watch & share:
