They met with the Office of Insular Affairs of the House Committee on Natural Resources and with @TeatroGALA. Finally, they assisted in the Sixth Outwin Boochever Portrait Competition, where our own Elsa María Meléndez was a finalist with her textile-based work titled “Milk”.

Executive Director Feliciano met today with Representative José Bernardí Márquez to discuss federal opportunities for Puerto Ricans on the Island.
Executive Director Feliciano met with Mayor of Río Grande Ángel González and Mayor of Naguabo Miraidaliz Rosario Pagán to discuss federal funding opportunities to continue developing infrastructure in their municipalities to benefit the citizens of their communities.
Executive Director Feliciano met with the Asociación de Restaurantes de Puerto Rico (ASORE) to discuss the need to transition from NAP to SNAP to effectively counteract food insecurity in Puerto Rico.
Today, Executive Director Feliciano received the @icppr team as part of their days of meetings in Washington, D.C. Together, they discussed cultural development opportunities in Puerto Rico, as well as future collaborations with agencies and organizations in the Nation's Capital.
We thank all veterans for their service and continue to work towards equality for all Puerto Ricans.

Today we honor and remember the Puerto Rican soldiers that bravely defended America in 1950. Known as the Borinqueneers, the 65th Regimen served on the front lines of the Korean war. Today we celebrate their legacy!

Congratulations to new Supreme Court Justice Ketanji Brown Jackson. As the first Black woman to sit in the highest court of the nation, she paves the way for many women and girls to have equal and fair representation. We celebrate this historic and well deserved confirmation.
This weekend, we served the Puerto Rican community in New York. In less than two days, 40 people received their vitals documents from the government of Puerto Rico, including 38 birth and 2 death certificates. We will continue to be the bridge between the Island and the mainland.
On World Autism Awareness Day we embrace all the people who are part of this community as we continue to raise awareness of the challenges they face so that the world can be more understanding, accepting and enables them to growth in equality.
We thank @SecFudge for her visit and we look forward to keep working hand in hand with the federal government for the American citizens that call Puerto Rico home. (2/2)
