This morning, a suspected impaired driver ran head-on into a @PeoriaPoliceAZ vehicle in the area of 83rd Ave./ Sweetwater Ave. The officer was taken to the hospital for evaluation, but has since been released.
.@PeoriaPoliceAZ Deputy Chief Steele & Detective Scott, kicked off the current class of Crisis Intervention Training. This course is attended by several West Valley agencies and provides the officers the training and resources to better assist those in our community. #PeoriaPDAZ
#UPDATE: While processing the suspect it was determined that, she had provided a false name to @PeoriaPoliceAZ officers. Suspect has been identified as 24-year-old Marissa Maguire. She was re-admitted to a local hospital for treatment. bit.ly/3im06A8#PeoriaPDAZ
The suspect has been identified as, 19-year-old Autumn Burton, of Glendale. She was transported to the hospital and has since been released. No officers or innocent bystanders were injured during this incident.
