Time to mail the card! Explain to your child how excited dad will be to get a special card in the mail, even if dad lives at home. You can then go to the post office or your mailbox to send the card.
After your child has finished their picture, unfold the paper and help them write a message on the inside. Fold the paper closed, place it in an envelope, and then help your child address the envelope and add postage.
Ask your child what they would like to draw. Then using paints, markers or crayons, help your child draw their picture on one side of the folded paper.
Have your child take a standard letter size (8.5” x11”) piece of paper and fold it in half.
