Monty Rice grew up in Huntsville, Ala., not far south of Nashville. Attended about 10 #Titans games as a kid, including #Titans 20-#Cardinals 17, the Young-to-Britt game on Nov. 29, 2009. Favorite players were Chris Johnson, Keith Bulluck and Kyle Vanden Bosch.

Vrabel on inside WRs: "We feel like we have slots there." #Titans
Robinson said they were close a couple times on TEs. GMs have called about TEs on their rosters. MyCole Pruitt a consideration, undrafteds. #Titans
While calling undrafteds, I'd also place a call to MyCole Pruitt if I were the #Titans. Not going to cost a lot. Is confidence that high in Tommy Hudson, Parker Hesse and/or Jared Pickney? @flyyCole_x4
#Titans had one line in the water, but it didn't materialize. They are done for the day and the draft.
Breeze says his knack for the ball is primarily a result of hustling and effort, even when he is tired. #Titans Ready to take his love for and pride in special teams to the next level.

Brady Breeze played over 700 special teams coverage snaps at Oregon in three years, per @dpbrugler. (How is that possible?) Very instinctive. Win a Rose Bowl MVP. #Titans
Barring a trade back in, here is the #Titans' 2021 draft class:
Five of the #Titans’ seven picks were on @seniorbowl rosters. Hardly only factor, but team certainly valued interaction in Mobile. Only Farley and Molden weren’t on rosters.…
So Racey McMath looks the part (6-2, 211, 4.39), but also looks like a sixth-round pick: He will need some time to be developed, will have to win his way onto the team and onto the field by making himself an indispensable special teams player. #Titans
Under new NFL rules, linebackers can wear 1-59 and 90-99. @RashadWeaver wore 17 at Pitt and might have been a candidate for it in the NFL, but... he lands with the #Titans where his QB, Ryan Tannehill, happens to wear it.
.@RashadWeaver has a nice logo of his initials at his Twitter homepage.
No issue with #Titans trade up for Louisville WR Dez Fitzpatrick…
Rashad Weaver was proactive, brought up sack vs. Tyler Vrabel of BC first in chat with Mike Vrabel. #Titans
Rashad Weaver speaks with a lot of confidence, wants to influence every play, eager to do well enough to prompt Dupree and Landry to take some snaps to rest. #Titans
"Feel like they got the biggest steal of the draft." -- Rashod Weaver expected to go Day 2. #Titans
Rashad Weaver was good for a half-sack and one tackle for a loss a game at Pitt -- had 17 sacks and 34.5 TFLs in 35 games. Consistent. #Titans
I like Rashad Weaver and the Pitt front from last year. #Titans.
No issue with #Titans' trade up for big WR Dez Fitzpatrick…
Fitzpatrick thought he'd be late second day/ early third. Thought #Rams were also interested. Already got a text from Ryan Tannehill, who said he likes his game and thinks he can be a weapon for TEN.
Dez Fitzpatrick: #Titans saw reps in slot at Senior Bowl and early in Louisville career. Impressed I can do that at my size. I can run underneath routes, every route in the tree, I'm a complete receiver, can keep them guessing.
I'm not going to knock the #Titans for moving up to get a receiver. Clear need, unaddressed in the first three rounds. If this is a guy they love who they think can produce and produce early, quality over quantity.
In addition to Louisville, Dez Fitzpatrick got offers from Pittsburgh, Toledo, Wake Forest, Purdue, Ohio, Kentucky, Cincinnati, Minnesota, Michigan, Indiana, Illinois, Arizona and Nebraska. #Titans
Dez Fitzpatrick was a four-year starter at Louisville. 154 catches, 2,589 yards, 16.8-yard average, 21 TDs. 6-1+, 208, ran a 4.47 #Titans
#Titans traded for the 109th pick from #Panthers.   Tennessee gives up picks 126, 166 and 232.
Have to think 81, 82, 83 was a killer stretch for the #Titans before they bailed out of 85 in a trade with Green Bay.
With two corners in four picks, #Titans set up competition and depth…
#Titans' third-rounder Monty Rice had to be here for Rashaan Evans' job…
#Titans' era, LBs and DLs drafted fourth round or after who had just 2 sacks or more as a rookie:
#Titans' era, TEs drafted fourth round or after who had just 10 catches or more as a rookie:
#Titans' era, WRs drafted fourth round or after who had just 10 catches or more as a rookie:
#Titans didn't address WR, TE or pass rusher in the first three rounds. In franchise history, it's been very rare to find notable first-year production from those spots from this point forward in the draft, as I'll illustrate in this thread.
After Dillon Radunz at No. 53, a look at the #Titans' giant OL resource expenditures under Jon Robinson…
