French fascists so quiet right now you could hear a le pen drop. #presidentielles2022

French elections, round 2.
One of the most complicated logistical problems in France is delivering the weekly cheese rations to people on the top floor. #FrenchCulture
Super awkward moment at the supermarket today.
One of my favorite French words is éclair which means both a long pastry and lightning bolt.
Is this how kitchens work in Italy?

I’ve been following the pay discourse on this site for a while & think it’s important for the movement toward salary transparency (particularly vis a vis gender & race) to continue to grow, so here’s my account.. #internationalwomensday 1/

“The Sleep of Reason Produces Monsters” by Francisco Goya, circa 1799.
A news story in Europe is that Jeff Bezos is taking apart an old bridge so he can get his new mega yacht. Such a surreal story that I made a surreal video of him sailing through dismantled bridges around the world.
Last week I tried mushroom ice-cream and I’m still thinking about how good it was. And I mean it was literally made with mushrooms and you could taste them and it was still delicious. This shouldn’t be possible, right?
My most recent creation for @brutofficiel - seeing red lines everywhere I look in France right now. Wife and both kids got Covid over break, the school has multiple cases every week, most people I know either have it or are recovering. Be safe, friends!
Chess nuts roasting on an open fire.
Political cartoons for the digital age. Today @brutofficiel launched a new series we’ve made together called Brut Shorts. An exploration in using my digital video art to comment on current events. Very excited about this 🙂H
Buster Keaton’s lesser known work, “The Friday Procrastinator”
And now for the video that will destroy every marriage in France.
If you like my work, I guarantee you’ll like @SamplerTimes even more. We’ve been amigos since the vine days and he has some of the most viewed stop-motion content online but he has wayyyy too few followers on here. Check. Him. Out! twitter.com/9GAG/status/14…
The Discovery Channel asked to post my video and it now has over 2 million likes and 40 million views 🤩 So I think I might now hold the record for the most viewed content in the history of the Discovery Channel’s page rx
All I want to do is sit in an ancient tavern in Madrid eating jamón ibérico and drinking cañas. In the meantime, here’s a giant ham driving by puerta de Alcalá.
Check out this gorgeous video we made for @OtterBox 😊s

We have dreamt of flying since the dawn of humankind. What a privilege to live in a time when we can marvel at the beauty of our world from the clouds. ☁️ 🎥 + 💭: Ian Padgham@origifulul)#VOTDT#videoofthedaya#cgig#artr#naturer0t

Always surprised at how disparate my preferences are from those of “followers”. Since Vine I’ve never understood why videos I love most never do well. CiP: I felt like I’d painted the Sistine Chapel upon sculpting Bosch’s creations & yet it’s my worst performing video ever 🤷🏼‍♂84
Hieronymus Bosch’s, “Garden of Earthly Delights” at the Prado is just so wild. What an insane creation. I was inspired ;)
There were kids surfing in the middle of the city today.
There’s too much whining on Twitter and not enough wine! Check out this awesome video I made for my friend @janeansonwine to celebrate her new book and website janeanson.com If you’re interested in Bordeaux wine she is THE person to follow 🥳X9
Instagram has only been down for 15 minutes and I’ve already learned my son’s name
My neighbors built a full-scale Star Wars model.
This is based on Giuseppe Arcimboldo’s painting at the Louvre in Paris entitled, “Autumn”
Happy First Day of Fall!
Love is in the air.
Today kicks off my annual cartoon series I do for the @Vikings :) It’s a fun animation featuring whoever we’re playing that week, sponsored by @PolarisInc. I think my kids like this project more than anything else I’ve ever done 😆S
And finally my reconstruction of William Harnett’s painting. Hope you enjoyed these extras :)
Here is the Master Bertram construction:
As for the Boccioni, I was really interested in trying to bring movement to his works that were all about dynamism and energy. So here’s how I tackled his “Boxer”
Some behind the scenes :) I really wanted to bring the Rembrandt and Ghirlandaio portraits to life. So I modified actual sculptures that I “pushed through” the canvases. So painting, sculpture, and video all mixed together.
I am a judge for the new #VersionaThyssen competition in Madrid 👨‍🎨 You can win money and memberships so check ou@MuseoThyssenen or their website for details! Here’s what I made to kick it off :MW
My first installation at the Louvre.
After a fun chat with people who do PR for Amtrak I realize I’d love to get in touch with @SecretaryPete or anyone who has money to pay for rebranding mass transit. I can make public transportation fun again. Hire me!
