“She did not stand alone, but what stood behind her, the most potent moral force in her life, was the love of her father.“ Seems about right. Dad’s are awesome.
Today, @MLB announced the inaugural #LouGehrigDay and Father’s Day also happens to be in June. With that being said, my agents recommended All the Colors Came Out by @katefagan3 for June’s pick in #NoahsBookClub because it’s about Kate’s father’s battle with ALS.

In any negotiation/interaction that it’s not your actual counterpart that you’re angry/frustrated with, it’s the situation/scenario y’all are in. 5/6
It also shares the value in tactics like mirroring work or Jedi mind tricks by making your counterpart think your goals were their ideas. Most importantly, this book has taught me that in order to be a great negotiator, you have to be a great listener. 4/6
Life is full of interactions that consist of negotiating that you might not even realize. This book has taught me that the best way to negotiate is actually showing empathy and creating an authentic relationship with the other party. 3/6
This book was recommended by my brother/first friend I ever made in pro ball, fellow derpa (inside joke you that even we don’t understand), one of the smartest dudes I know @BryanLongpre 2/6
