A Blakiston's fish owl. The biggest owl on Earth. They hunt salmon. 🦉wF
So, like, I thought it went without saying, but I guess not, so: Please don’t respond to me with images. Thanks.
The definition of trypophobia (so you don't have to look it up and possibly see pictures): "Trypophobia refers to disgust or fear of a pattern of holes. Seeing clusters of holes in foods, flowers and everyday items like sponges can trigger feelings of revulsion."
What'd I think of this latest season of Umbrella Academy? It was outstanding. On to Westworld.
I'm slightly trypophobic (my sister and daughter are heavily so). I was smart enough to take off my glasses immediately, but not quickly enough to avoid a first glimpse. 🤢, Awful, not to mention TOTALLY unnecessary.
If you are any level of trypophobic and you are watching Umbrella Academy, BEWARE of Season 3, Episode 10. Do NOT look at that soldier's face when he takes off his mask. There. You've been warned, 😊...as I wish I were.
All these folks who coulda said something before they were called to testify.

Both of them also know and answer to their names, turn doorknobs, and learn commands. It’s only a matter of time, 😆.twitter.com/NeptuneOnyedik…x

Uh wow. That’s a lot of activity. And all the trolls, bots and mouth-frothing Bible thumper’s talking shit…they clearly don’t know who they’re talking to. Not my problem. My tweet is merely the tip of the iceberg of my views on all that. There’s work to do on many fronts. twitter.com/Nnedi/status/1…
I used two of these in a stew last night; I’ve never had them before. Wow, 🔥🔥🔥! They are *delicious*! Just handle them with care. wFR4l
So pleased to see this getting shared so much. Good good GOOD! ❤️✊🏾
It’s this simple. It’s not a discussion.
“spokesman claims she meant to say ‘right to life’”. GTFOH!
I reeeeeally love how Umbrella Academy is developing and evolving this new season. It’s not just comfortably doing the same type of things shows like this do. …It’s the characters, for me. #UmbrellaAcademy
Just spent three hours preparing one of my daughter’s favorite meals. Time well spent. 😊#SelfCareSaturdayy
note: i couldn't care less if you misread my tweet.
A short but important story: I’ve always loathed hummus, 😝. While in Abu Dhabi last month, I saw some in the hotel buffet. After frowning at it with annoyed disgust, I decided to try some again. Surprising fireworks. Oh my GOD, 😋! I like hummus now. The end.
Earlier this week, I spent a day participating in a NASA think-tank. What an honor to be asked to be a part of it...not to mention the fact that some of the things we discussed sparked new ideas for me, 🤓!
I was eating fried plantain and here is @NeptuneOnyedike was trying to hypnotize me into handing it all to him. #Caturday
The role of the Christian church in this nasty decision should not be ignored or downplayed.
I reeeeeally needed a laugh today. This did not disappoint, 😄.R
Have a listen. This is from 1993. Butterfly nailed it back then. Clearly, concisely, poetically...with love. 🦋 youtube.com/watch?v=YgvWWV…c
Regardless, this remains a fact:
My daughter is 19. What a time to be this age and female.
And don't think this ignorant woman-hating nastiness won't ripple out and influence the rest of the world. Oh it will.
Separation of Church and State is a very good idea.

This decision is so massively IGNORANT. And anyone who is happy about it is also massively ignorant.
Trying really hard NOT to rage tweet today.
I've seen Papa Smurf in white pants, Smurfette with no top, completely round blue Smurf feet with no toes, etc. Heehee, it's so much fun to catch these moments. I embrace and revel in my nerdiness.
...oh and I tweeted this image a few weeks ago and no one could guess where it was from. It was from the Smurfs, too, 😁.j
One of my favorite things to do when I take a brief break from writing is watch the Smurfs (a bunch of seasons are on HBO Max) and look for mistakes or moments where something is drawn oddly. Saw this moment yesterday, 😆.Z
Burrowing Owls are tiny in size but they have the spirit of a lion. This female here is showcasing those ferocious talons off. Females can be differentiated by the darker tones of their plumage, male feathers are more sun bleached. #TwitterNatureCommunity #birds #nature

Neptune has been fluctuating between hiding under my skirt and looking out the window. Periwinkle is just mildly curious (he grew up in Illinois, so he’s seen plenty of rain storms, lol).
The gusts of wind here never mean tornado, but I can’t help but internally shrieking, “Tornado!!” every time. Heh, some things you just don’t get over.
Context: I’m from Illinois and I’ve been in a car [alone] on the road when a tornado touched down in the corn field right beside me…so I get a little, um, extra about severe sudden weather. 😬
I still don’t feel I understand this region’s dust storms yet (how they arrive, how quickly, etc), and I’m terrified of those scary walls of rolling dust I’ve seen videos of. Wouldn’t want to be far from home when I see one of those! And how fast are they??
I really want to go out and get some things done but I’m seeing dust storm warnings and severe thunderstorm warnings (man, it rarely rains here!) and they sky is brown…I’m just gonna stay put and charge all my devices , 😬.
@akoo_08 @IgboHistoFacts It is. And I have said in many interviews that Arondizuogu is the foundation of my creativity. I have been there many times and it's where so much began for me. I phrased my tweet the way I did to avoid anyone taking shots at my naijamericanness. Any. Other. Questions?
