Didn't BlockFi try this with their 8.6% APR deal? Whatever happened to BlockF... oh yeah. 📉twitter.com/SilvermanJacob…cm
Instead of various check mark colors, a verified media organization should be able to give its employees an affiliation mark that goes away when they stop working there. Instead of a blue check, you have a provisional mark of affiliation with a media outlet.

UPDATE: The Korean BBQ ones are great, but the Elote flavor is like witchcraft. My brain was like "IS THIS AN ALMOND OR IS THIS CORN? WHAT IS THIS WIZARDRY?!?!"
So weird to me that I only recognize two names in the top 10 - xQc and Hasan. And I find both of them unwatchable. twitter.com/Dexerto/status…
EPISODE 46: Confused and likely wrong explanations of the FTX collapse and why it matters. Plus, the people who fled to Mastodon to escape Twitter toxicity seem to have brought the toxicity with them there. How about that? ambitiousxover.libsyn.com/episode-46-tal…

The one small silver lining of eating like a complete dumpster on Thanksgiving is that all those carbs and sugar serve as excellent fuel for the next day's workout. Holy shit did I have infinite energy on the bike today.

The chutzpah of calling other people political nihilists when this is your reaction to everything bad Trump does. We see you.
Trump: *does something terrible* Bulwark crowd: Wow I can’t believe DeSantis didn’t do a tweet thread about how bad this is. Oh well I guess there’s no real difference between them and I guess Trump will be the nominee again. Shucks. Nevertheless, read my next op ed on this.
Trump gonna end up like that scene in Death to Smoochie. twitter.com/aghamilton29/s…
Pro-tip: Next time you're going to call a story about Trump fake, maybe wait to see if he confirms it first. twitter.com/alexbruesewitz…
“After publication, Trump’s campaign provided Breitbart News with this statement from President Trump: ‘Kanye West very much wanted to visit Mar-a-Lago. Our dinner meeting was intended to be Kanye & me only, but he arrived with a guest whom I had never met & knew nothing about.’” twitter.com/jonathanvswan/…

Adding to Jonathan/ @meridithmcgraw/ Daily Beast reporting on this: source familiar tells me Kanye West “begged” for a meeting/dinner w/Trump and “brought this guy along with him” who happened 2B Nick Fuentes, who joined them Trump allegedly didn’t know he was a far right racist twitter.com/jonathanvswan/…

The Twitter amnesty only works if you have a good system in place to re-ban accounts that actually deserved it. The problem is the many many suspensions that were arbitrary or flat out bullshit. You have to untangle this knot somehow and separate the dolphins from the tuna.
DeSantis should subtly troll Trump by having some sort of pro-Israel Jewish event at the Florida governor's mansion this week.

This is a funny comment considering that Vogue got shit for featuring Harry Styles in a dress on their cover because he was straight and it should have been an LGBT person instead. Everyone has their orthodoxy. twitter.com/kattenbarge/st…

He's not trolling. He's a literal troll. Like one of those dolls. twitter.com/LTDANSLEGSII/s…
Nick Fuentes doesn't even have the moral fortitude to be an actual racist. That Aryan munchkin will throw around the N-Word casually but the second he has a chance to sidle up to some black celebrity, suddenly he looks like a fan of Kris Kross circa 1991.
@theIDPharmD @iBlatant @bethanyshondark SO you're judging based on a screencap and a title and you're surprised people think your entire profession is clown shoes? It's you that's doing it!

Imagine how boring of a person you need to be to make Covid avoidance your dominant personality trait.
@neontaster Yes. I'd put Arcane on that list too. I did not have high expectations going in (who would have expected a cartoon about LoL to be any good?) but was absolutely blown away. Under promise and over deliver?

I absolutely love that two of the best things I watched all year - Andor and House of the Dragon - were projects that elicited barely even a "meh" from me when they were announced. Maybe there is something to be said for not having expectations, but both are straight up great.

I'm just thinking of the six or so years I spent at a job where stories like this one below happened frequently. I was also arbitrarily asked to provide detailed time breakdowns of my work because I was remote. twitter.com/neontaster/sta…
Again - other than this not sounding like a great place to work, I am still scratching my head at what about this is supposed to be apocalyptically outrageous and worthy of this kind of coverage. Most people reading this have worked far far shittier jobs than this.
Here's a suggestion in the case that your religion tells you the victims of some horrific massacre won't get to go to heaven: Keep it to your fucking self.
If Thanos had used the word "equity" instead of "balance" when wiping out half the universe, he'd still be getting positive writeups in the New York Times.
These stories are like people hearing the Nigerian who scammed them is going to prison and think "I hope he cut me that 10 million dollar check before he got arrested."
The stories about Sam Bankman-Fried remind me of the story in Israel last week of the woman who was scammed by the Tinder Swindler after the movie came out because he convinced her the movie was bullshit and she said "I believed him because he didn't look like a scammer."
