Just woke up from a dream: I was interviewing Lee Konitz and Dan Tepfer onstage in Seattle. At one point I surprised them by playing a bootleg of one of their improvisations, and the music was so vivid and beautiful. We lost Lee on April 15, 2020; @tepferdan, thinking of you 💐C
