Never Forget. September 7, 2002, 100,000 fans created a card stunt salute to America in recognition of the upcoming anniversary of the September 11th terrorist attacks during the NASCAR Winston Cup Chevrolet Monte Carlo 400 at Richmond International Raceway in Richmond, Virginia.
#TBT - 9/11/99, the first of Hall of Famer @TonyStewart’s 49 career premier series victories came at @RichmondRaceway in the Exide NASCAR Select Batteries 400. Stewart had a dominating night at the 0.75-mile track, where he led 333 of 400 laps. #NASCAR #NASCARHall #NASCARHOF
