I am proud to be the Democratic nominee for governor of Georgia. My name may be on the ballot, but this campaign isn’t about me — it’s about you. Together we can create a state where everyone can thrive.

Today, Chris Christie (who expanded Medicaid in New Jersey) is appearing with Brian Kemp, who deprives 500,000+ Georgians of Medicaid access and just vetoed access for Georgians living with HIV. Kemp doesn’t care, so Georgians suffer while our tax dollars flow to 38 other states.

Doesn’t that sound nice? Having a governor who cares, who is smart, kind, compassionate, has a plan and is dedicated to bettering the lives of Georgians?

This “debate” (right wing disinformation bonanza) was really something, wasn’t it? The lies. The deceit. The blatant disregard and disrespect for Georgians. We deserve better than what we just saw.

No permit. No background check. 70% of Georgians oppose it and law enforcement has major concerns. But @BrianKempGA plans to sign a dangerous "criminal carry" bill into law that weakens public safety by making it easier for criminals to carry hidden, loaded guns in public.
