Another thought on game 2, Jeff Petry was very good despite playing with a hand that was still affecting him. Great to watch him problem solve in real time on how to defend or move pucks while also protecting hand. Really impressive.
How many times do the Habs need to see that faceoff play run to Pietrangelo before the left winger just hangs in slot to take passing lane away?
🇨🇦⚽️ This might be the most ridiculously awesome goal of all time:ys

Had the pleasure to play with Mo in Cologne when he was a young prospect. Just an incredible kid, hard nosed player with great attitude. I’m not surprised he’s become the leader he has. Congrats to Germany, hockey’s fastest emerging power! 👏@DieHaieitwitter.com/finktv2/status…Ot

1 point to get in playoffs, tonight is the night to get it done twitter.com/JohnLuTSNMtl/s…
100 points for McDavid is an incredible accomplishment in any year, let alone 53 games. We know he’s great, but this night, like a Gretzky with 5 to get 50 in 39, he is on another level. One of the best games I can remember
Good time to revisit this one. The art of shooting the rolling puck. Marner does it perfectly for the go ahead goal. twitter.com/mike_p_johnson…
A few things 1) I always err on side of calling penalty shots.. for any team. 2) you don’t have to hook specifically in to hands for it to be a can opener. 3) using the leverage of the hip to hook stick with one hand makes it a penalty 4) just my opinion, no right or wrong.
That should be a penalty shot for Caufield after can opener by Muzzin.
I don’t understand putting Allen in to start 2nd. If you’re trying to salves the game you pull Primeau at 2-0. At 4-0 it just gives Allen more work on a planned day off. Either pull him at 2 or let it ride. Unless....you have a third goalie who might play soon #priceisright

Cole Caufiled with the rookie lap, not surprising, but you have to respect no bucket!! The kids has some swagger. Great game tonight on ⁦@TSN_Sports⁩ tonight at 6:30 eastern as Flames try to get within 2 points of 4th and final playoff spot.

Bodog Rewind™️ 1995: Patrick Roy is angry after being left in the game after giving up 9 goals. He could be heard saying “This is my last game in Montreal”... He was traded 4 days later to the @Avalanche where he’d win the Stanley Cup in ‘96!

What is the O/U on how many hits Marleau takes tonight? I’m all over the under, nobody better touch him twitter.com/DTonSC/status/…
Regardless of what happens in OT, that was a gutsy effort by Canucks. You have to respect that the group was able to find the energy and their game to get better as game went on.
If I had to guess, I would say that puck was over the line, not sure if they can see it clear enough to call a goal.
Talked about a change in philosophy for Leafs PP a few days ago, looks like Manny Malholtra was on the same wave length. twitter.com/TSNHockey/stat…
Matthews finally gets a PP goal off the rush, but I’ve liked the Leafs PP looks to hit, utilizing player on goaline has opened up lots of good chances that they will score on. Positive developments.
