Landed in Saudi Arabia which just opened its airspace to civilian aircraft. The press charter plane was the first to travel directly from Israel to Jeddah.
Air Force One is in a secure area at the airport in Israel as the traveling press load a separate charter on the tarmac. The flight takes an historic route as the first to fly from Tel Aviv to Jeddah.
On very little sleep, our time in Israel comes to an end as the WH traveling press leaves Jerusalem before dawn for Tel Aviv and a flight to Saudi Arabia ahead of the president who will travel with the smaller press pool.

President Biden arrived in Israel and as advisors indicated he is not shaking hands with any leaders. Officials said it is a COVID protocol. It also provides a reason to not be seen shaking certain hands like that of MBS at the next stop in Saudi Arabia.
