This Saturday!! @UniteThePoor will march on Washington and assemble to demand the end of policy violence against poor and working class folks. The people most impacted by America’s policy violence have already imagined a better way! RSVP and more info: poorpeoplescampaign.org/june18
🇮🇱 imprisoned Ahmad Manasra when he was 13. Put him in isolation, beat him, tormented him for almost 7 years. He’s in Ramleh hospital, doctors say his mental health state is horrifying. Quick to convict and torture a boy, but a soldier that assassinated Shireen, that’s hearsayPq

Very important: Palestinians in Masafer Yatta aren't being forcibly expelled because they "live on top of a military zone." The Israeli regime designated their communities (which predate the settler state itself) to be "Firing Zone 918" for the *sole* purpose of expelling them.

It’s my birthday today. I’m 26. My biggest wish, since I was a child, is to be free from occupation. Now as our community of Masafer Yatta is being destroyed, day by day, it’s honestly hard to celebrate. Still, my wish remains: to remain. To have a future.

Tell Congress to act NOW to stop Israeli home demolitions and forced displacement in Masafer Yatta: act.jewishvoiceforpeace.org/a/22-06-stop-a…
We must support Palestinian resistance to Israeli ethnic cleansing — the kind of resistance that the @YouthOfSumud center fosters. And we must get the US to stop the expulsion and end funding to the Israeli military, which provides the justification for, and perpetrates, it.
The US government gives Israel $3.8 billion per year, funding the machinery that demolishes homes and community centers in Masafer Yatta — as well as the soldiers that will train on top of the ethnically-cleansed village.
The pretense for Israel's theft and destruction? That the Palestinians of Masafer Yatta are “illegally” living in a military “firing zone." But Israel baselessly declared this “firing zone” in the 1980s, with the explicit purpose of expelling Palestinians to colonize their land.
The Palestinians of Masafer Yatta have inhabited the area for centuries — long before Israel and Zionism even existed. The Israeli military is trying to take over their land and demolish their homes. If the forced expulsion goes through, it will be the largest since 1967.
Palestinians have the right to resist ethnic cleansing — but Israel is trying to deprive them of it. The Israeli government plans to destroy a center for community building and organizing in Masafer Yatta, where 2,400 Palestinians face home demolitions and forced expulsion. twitter.com/YouthOfSumud/s…

Israeli settlers destroyed the memorial of Hajj Sulieman today, an attempt to break the will of the people of South Hebron. Hajj Sulieman always reminded people, "From the River to the Sea, Palestine will be Free". And in his memory, we will resist colonization and Zionism.

Glad @washingtonpost is reporting the truth Palestinian eyewitnesses have shared all along (albeit still in passive tense, without naming the Israeli sniper as perpetrator). The evidence is conclusive and always has been. We need justice: end US funding to the Israeli military. twitter.com/washingtonpost…
Doubting that Israeli forces murdered Shireen Abu-Akleh is possible only if you think her Palestinian colleagues who witnessed the entire thing at close range are inherently unreliable, for all the typically racist reasons.

An investigation is not only about fact finding. It is about accountability and the lack of it is utterly chilling. Israeli forces are getting away with murder. Not just Shireen's but every day. They will continue to if the world and those in power stay silent.
It has been one month since Shireen Abu Akleh was murdered by an Israeli sniper and still no investigation has materialized. The Israeli military has refused to launch a criminal investigation. The United States has shunted responsibility and failed to act hoping we will forget.

If anyone wants to doubt that it’s the Israeli military that killed journalist Shireen Abu Aqleh. Fine. We have lists on lists of other cases. We want the whole military held accountable, not one soldier. The whole apparatus (in conjunction with Israeli courts) is criminal.

We are still reeling from the horrors of watching Shireen Abu Akleh's funeral procession be attacked by Israeli military forces. The scene was emblematic of the ways the Israeli state targets Palestinian hospitals, health centers, and health workers.
Israel has carried out hundreds of attacks (132 in April-May 2021 alone) against health workers and hospitals, going so far as to raid hospitals to arrest youth getting treated for wounds. Israel is trying to make Palestinians sick and keep them sick. 972mag.com/saint-joseph-h…

Google workers don’t want their labor to power Israeli apartheid, and investors don’t want to profit off of it. The labor of workers and the capital of investors make companies run — so Google should end its contract with the Israeli government and military. #NoTechForApartheid
This historic moment comes on the heels of sustained Google worker resistance to the Project Nimbus contract. Here are excerpts of a video recorded by Gabriel Schubiner, an anti-Zionist Jewish Google worker, for the Google shareholders meeting:
