Our government established the Atlantic Seal Science Task Team because we heard concerns from harvesters about seal predation on fish stocks. Annual aerial surveys to estimate the abundance of moose in Nunatsiavut are well underway. On Friday, a crew successfully completed surveys of Moose Management Areas 88 & 89, based out of Rigolet. A second crew is currently working through MMA 91-N (Hopedale).
