I was a guest on Upgrade this week, talking about the state of Apple development from my own personal perspective! If I sound tired, it’s because I recorded this last week when it was over 28ºC in my office… twitter.com/_upgradefm/sta…

So been asked by some new devs how to get a job, I have hired and been hired and my biggest tip is … Build and publish a project on your own Its amazing how much this can set you apart.

Worthwhile again to remember: when these hearings started, there was WIDESPREAD commentary abt how "nothing new" was expected to come out of them; they were likely to be mostly "political grandstanding." Commentary now? "Eye-popping," "dramatic," "devastating," "historic."

@gruber I made this when the show premiered. Probably should have made shirts.

Truly remarkable numbers. In just under two years public approval of the US Supreme Court has fallen from 66% to 38%. Simply unprecedented in rapidity. This is what fatal loss of institutional legitimacy looks like. law.marquette.edu/poll/

It's not up for debate. Federal papers must be preserved. It's not as if a lot of text messages fell into a fire. Quite a few people needed to agree to this. You take those responsible, put them under hot lights, and throw the book at them.

Here’s an idea to make the MLB All-Star team interesting. Every player who makes the team and agrees to play has to put 10 percent of their salary into a pot. Winning team divides the dough. Managers too.
In technical political terms the premise of this article is referred to as bullshit. Or horseshit, depending on yr school of thought. The idea here is that Dems got or helped get a feral Trumpet freak show the nomination. Now he might win. So look what the Democrats did! Oh noes! twitter.com/elizacollins1/…

There has not been a filibuster-proof majority in the Senate since 1979. I would have guessed more recently than that. Republicans haven't had one since 1923.

Every single team in the AL East is .500 or better (and only the last-place O’s are .500) heading into All-Star break. Every other division has at least one team 20 games under .500 but for the NL West, with the 42-50 Diamondbacks in last place.
Whether you supported Fetterman in the primary or not, you have to acknowledge that he understands how to message and campaign in a way that resonates and has an impact, and that's something most Dems haven't figured out. Here's what I mean: 1/x
