100 releases ago, we designed #Chrome, keeping your safety and privacy in mind. From updated settings to checking your passwords, extensions, Safe Browsing and browser updates in one click — what’s one security feature that’s become a part of your everyday Chrome life?
Here’s another accessibility highlight from the past 100 releases — Live Caption, which lets you generate captions in real-time on different types of media. It’s helpful for when you’re listening podcasts, rewatching those videos you saved in @googlephotos, and more.
#Chrome Actions make tasks like managing your accessibility settings easier to complete. Try typing “customize accessibility settings” or “control assistive technology” into your address bar to get started. It’s one of many innovations over the past 100 releases.
Accessibility remains top of mind when designing for #Chrome. From tools that provide image descriptions when there’s no alt text, to those that caption media in real-time — here are a few that have come out of the last 100 releases.
