✨ TOMORROW ✨ We're hosting a virtual panel for folks who want to be part of Creating 2SLGBTQ+ Inclusive Leadership Spaces! Join our panelists on Zoom to discuss how to ensure 2SLGBTQ+ representation of youth in decision-making spaces is meaningful.
Fora stands - and will continue to stand - in solidarity with pro-choice advocates in the United States and around the world. This was a devastating blow. But we will continue to fight for the rights of our communities, our bodies, our lives and our futures.
We encourage you to follow our colleagues over at @actioncanadashr and @IpasOrg to learn more about reproductive justice across Canada and around the world.
Abortion is health care. Access to safe, timely, quality abortion care is a human right. For everyone, everywhere.
We also stand with our community in Canada and across the globe, who are watching this ruling in disbelief. Access to abortion is already a significant issue in Canada and we worry about the ripple effect of this decision both on Canadians and on our community around the world.
In the wake of the Supreme Court’s decision to overturn Roe v. Wade, we stand with our friends and colleagues who are impacted by last week’s ruling. We stand in solidarity with orgs & organizers in the US who are mobilizing to support those made most vulnerable by this decision.
This ruling unjustly affects the most marginalized members of our communities – those already impacted by income inequality, lack of access to health care, racism and discrimination in the health care system.
We are incredibly disappointed and disheartened to watch the United States government continue to move backwards on reproductive rights, bodily autonomy, health equity and fundamental human rights of all birthing persons.
BuzzFeed News talked to five legal experts and advocates about how to get an abortion in a post–Roe world. Here's everything you need to know.

Fired up about #RoeVsWade decision? If you are in Canada you can write to your local provincial or territorial politician urging them to sustainably invest in reproductive health including increased access to abortion. #AbortionIsHealthcare Illustration by @liberaljanee

Abortion rights are human rights, for everyone, everywhere. We must take action to protect abortion locally, nationally, and globally. Here’s how:

Fora will continue to build programs in which Indigenous community members are represented and supported. For settlers and non-Indigenous community members, we encourage you to learn about the land you're on, and the people and nations to whom it belongs.
Through the knowledge shared with us by Indigenous Knowledge Keeper Amy Desjarlais, Fora is increasingly aware of the privilege that we have, and of our responsibility to the Indigenous people of this land and the land itself.
In the past few years, we have worked with Indigenous Knowledge Keepers and youth to ensure that our organization and programming prioritizes the inclusion and safety of our Indigenous community.
