Yesterday, on my birthday, I finally watched @mang0ld FORD v FERRARI. I’ve missed films like this. I felt like a kid watching a classic movie for the first time. This one will be forever new. I loved every second of it.
American Civil War had two main catalysts: 1) Federal government’s inability to solve a problem and choosing to deal with it “later.” 2) Disagreement over individual state’s rights. Sound familiar?
The government keeps giving us bananas when we actually need blue shells.
A few times a day, a police car drives by my apartment blaring a looped message on loudspeakers: "Stay home. Leave your house only for the essentials. If you leave your house, you'll help spread the virus. Stay home." Stranger than fiction.
