HOSPITALS UPDATE: There are about 720 people in San Diego hospitals for COVID-19 compared to 260 one month ago. Officials say unvaccinated residents are ending up at the medical centers at a far higher rate.
The identities and units of those killed will be withheld until 24 hours after all next-of-kin notifications are complete.
