The crew at @FantasyFaction reviewed The Art of Prophecy! Snippet: You can’t help but to root for all of these characters, even if their agendas clash. 3 years after the Titanic, another ship, the SS Eastland, sank killing even more people, most were young women and children. Where did it sink? The Chicago river. While still tied to the dock. Why have you never heard of this? That's a good question. 🧵 youtube.com/watch?v=UCHt2M…b2

No arguments otherwise will be tolerated in this [FB] group. We want everyone to feel comfortable here, and if someone saying they _read_ audiobooks upsets you, then you might need to find another group to hang out in. Thank you. 🐉 8/8
It takes the same amount of brain power to comprehend the words and follow the story. Saying otherwise is ableist and gatekeepy. However you want, or need, to consume books is your choice, and regardless of your ability is also a perfectly acceptable form of reading. 7/?
Just because a word isn’t written on a piece of paper (or pixels on a screen) doesn’t mean consuming those words isn’t reading. It’s not “easier” to have to listen to an audiobook or read in braille. 6/?
Some people with difficulty holding things might read only on electronic devices because holding a book open is impossible. People who have trouble with eyesight might listen to audiobooks or read books in braille. These are all valid forms of reading. 5/?
Hardcover, softcover, ebook, audiobook, braille, listening to someone read aloud. All of those things count as reading. Able-bodied people may choose to listen to audiobooks exclusively because they enjoy it more. And that’s fine. It’s still reading. 4/?
And since that is a preference that discussion will never truly be settled. However, there is one argument that we are putting to rest today. And that is: What counts as reading? The answer is: If there are words in book form and they somehow enter your brain: That’s reading. 3/?
But! There is one issue that keeps cropping up that needs to be addressed, and that is a reader’s media preference. There have been discussions here on whether hardcover or softcover books are better, or whether ebooks are superior to both. 2/?
Hello Factioneers! Admin here. We need to have a quick discussion about _reading_. This group contains diverse readers from all over the world, with many different likes and dislikes. And that is awesome, because diversity is what makes this group so much fun to be a part of. 1/?
Here is a link to the discussion and I am going to transcribe the post in the following tweets cause it's too long to add an alt tag. facebook.com/groups/Fantasy…
