@russellquirk @PropIndEye Indeed. They need to get out there and defend their position. But maybe its just too hard to defend the indefensible.

Whilst none of the #ProperPR team have the patience for the game we’re delighted to have co-sponsored the @SiriusGroupUK golf day earlier this week. Apparently there were birdies and albatrosses involved and we can only assume that this was the menu for the barbecue afterwards?
In amongst all the scaremongering and confusion, there has been very little attention brought to the fact that Covid hospital admissions are falling in England right now.

Great fun planking with @Iromg and @estherk_k today. As ever, spoiled for choice of the planet’s muppets, hypocrites and moronic politicians and celebrities. But from nine carefully selected numpties we managed to find a deserving winner. It’s not easy you know! Soon on YouTube.
The continuing decline of @foxtons… Share price has slipped 5% in early trading to less than 50p today. 75% of its total value has been wiped out since 2015 with big losses for shareholders. Why? Foxtons’ management don’t understand the property sector.
Can mortgage rates get any lower? The latest undercut is just 0.79% and with 140 products now under 1%. THIS is what’s fuelling house price growth……

Hoping we can rely on the usual rapidly revolving door of @mhclg and a new Housing Minister today (not to be confused with Sec State for MHCLG who’s already been pushed out the window). So, will it be Minister number 11 in 11 years? Will she/he have an ounce of experience? …

Two thirds favour manifesto promises being legally contractual…
Latest: Halifax House Price Index reports this morning a more subdued monthly and annual rise in values than other recent indexes and far less aggressive than the ONS, which lags by three months. A more orderly 2022 market beckons.
Should political party manifestos be contractual? Bound in law to prevent politicians saying what they like in order to just get elected - then not fulfilling their pledge? Worse, doing the opposite.
This. This is what fuels continuing house price rises…
