Twitter, I need saving from the endless task of trying to find a Friday night film to watch. What film (from any of the usual streamers) would you recommend for a 9yo, 14yo and me to watch?

I assume she’s here to fight pigeons/crime but wow, what a lovely surprise! Is she always here and I’ve only just noticed?
Umm… there is an eagle in Kings Cross station
Congratulations to the winner and a big well done to the 3 finalists @giuseppecooks , Crystelle and Chigs. It’s been a fantastic series with some truly inspiring bakes! 🎂🎂🎂#GBBOFinalOFinal

People are literally dying in ambulances waiting to get into rammed hospitals, and all the public and media seem to care about is being able to see their GP face to face for literally no reason.

‘Amanita Muscaria’ aka ‘Fly Agaric’ aka the classic Toadstool. Found in my parents’ local park this morning. Those colours are so beautiful! 🍄🍄🍄SroE7
I made 100 of these strawberries & cream cupcakes for the final event of #walkwithAmal at the V&A museum today! Can’t quite believe how much butter I got through in making them. But luckily there were a few spare to keep me happy today!
This has got to be Chigs’ week, surely? He’s on FIRE! #GBBO
The baking terminator??! Surely it should be Jürgenator! #GBBO

Going from Brixton to Peckham via public transport…
Nothing quite like the smell of gone-off Stilton to remind you that: A) You need to clean out the fridge B) Your sense of smell is back twitter.com/DrRayBakes/sta…
What do we think - damsons, or just small plums? I think probably the latter… Either way, they’re getting turned into a crumble!
It’s good to be back.
This is disgusting, solidarity with @jessbrammar and @jimwaterson. Worth saying out loud what's happening here: client journalism by a government-supporting paper, with the aim of forcing the public broadcaster to pick an ally of the ruling party to oversee its news output twitter.com/REWearmouth/st…

The pigeons that ride the Metropolitan line every morning, looking for crisps and other tasty treats, are my favourite kind of pigeon.
The govt is considering selling Channel 4 for a quick profit. Since its inception @ 40yrs ago, C4 has been publicly owned, i.e., by you. C4 as it exists is LEGALLY REQUIRED to make shows w small British production cos that take risks & spend £ locally.

Went for a run. Came home & had ice cream as a reward. And thus, the great circle of life continues.

If anyone knows Laura and can get in touch with her then please do; it really sounds like she needs some help. She’s a London trainee doctor who’s left surgical training for anaesthetics. twitter.com/doctor__laura/…
For those of you who lost your sense of smell with Covid, how long did it take to come back?
But overall it’s mostly just felt like a bad head cold. So I’m thankful that I’ve been vaccinated and that hopefully, I won’t have to deal with any serious symptoms. Take care everyone, and get vaccinated!
Later symptoms have been a bit more typical: headache, muscle aches, fatigue, a mild cough. And today, 3 days after the first symptoms, loss of smell. Which is going to make recipe testing a bit more challenging! 😭😭😭
I was visiting family, one of whom ended up symptomatic and PCR+ve, so getting COVID wasn’t unexpected. But if it weren’t for that definite contact I wouldn’t have been thinking of covid based on the symptoms. I thought it was just a cold/bad hayfever.
Interestingly, the symptoms are not what I expected they would be. It started as a cold - sore throat, stuffy nose. No fever, cough or loss of smell.
So I’d naively hoped that being double vaccinated would mean I’d be immune. Unfortunately not. But unsurprising given that the main purpose of vaccination is to prevent severe illness rather than to stop all infections.
Well this is annoying.
"Hook, line and sink him!" This show. One of the greatest shows ever. EVER. It has set the bar to the next level. And Michaela Coel is next next level. As a performer, writer, creator, director, leader. So so so brilliant. twitter.com/BAFTA/status/1…

Wakes up: “It’s #DragRaceUK Final Day 😍😍😍!” Realises that means no more Drag Race next week: 😭😭😭
It would be a lot easier to believe the government “can’t afford” more than a pathetic 1% pay uplift for nurses if they hadn’t spent the past year pulling £££billions out of their ass every time a duff test&trace/PPE contract needs paying.
Completely awestruck by Awhora’s look tonight. The colour, the volume, and made from what, bin-bags?! The creativity on this show blows my mind!! #DragRaceUK

That was a fascinating discussion - thank you @PriyamvadaGopal, @Madhusree1984, @kehinde_andrews and Dr Onyeka Nubia. Is there any chance the recording will be made available online? I know a few people who will be sorry to have missed it. twitter.com/churchillcol/s…
What a triumph of story-telling from @russelldavies63 and @alexander_olly and the rest of the cast. If you haven’t seen it yet then WATCH IT! I know we’re only just in February but I think we may already have our show of the year.
Completely floored by #ItsASin. It was everything I hoped it would be - funny and beautiful, but so incredibly sad. I can’t believe that whilst I was a little kid watching cartoons in the 80s & 90s, this was life for other gay people. For the people who paved the way for me.
I discovered this photo on facebook of my uncle in the 80s. Watching ‘It’s A Sin’ and realising just how awful a time it was for gay men back then, and adding my family’s strict Jamaican heritage, it’s honestly inspiring - his bravery, his confidence. What a fucking icon, truly.
