Fascinating new book "An Ugly Truth: Inside Facebook's Battle for Domination” by @sheeraf & @ceciliakang reads more like a thriller. Highly recommended. My review -> davidmeermanscott.com/blog/an-ugly-t…
In today’s real time business environment, size is no longer a decisive advantage. Speed and agility win the moment.
These are fabulous business book publishers but that's not the only way to get your book out there. You can also work with smaller niche publishers, academic presses, or you can publish yourself. bit.ly/2PK8Qpc

If you are working in a so-called business-to-business environment, it’s essential that you always remember that you are not marketing or selling to IBM or a hospital or a restaurant chain. You are connecting with people. bit.ly/3iucTCw

Unfortunately, too many people write “me too” business books – they take what’s already been done by other authors, tweak the topic slightly in an attempt to make it their own, and put it out. bit.ly/2PK8Qpc

One of the most important things that publishers do is start with a content strategy and then focus on the mechanics and design of delivering that content. The same is true of marketing. bit.ly/3g4LX9k

Business book publishers look for authors that can prove they will sell many thousands of books because the author has a large audience -- through social media, speaking, being quoted in the press, being famous for something, or whatever. bit.ly/2PK8Qpc
The key is to make the offer something of value that listeners will appreciate. Don’t try to sell and don’t require inane registration requirements so you can “generate leads”. bit.ly/3uNzGfc #clubhouse #podcasts
I loved the wonderful speech by Tamsen Webster “Find Your Red Thread”. I’m so happy she has a book out now on the topic. “The best way to make your idea irresistible is to build the story people will tell themselves about it.” @tamadear @PageTwoBooks
