We believe in a world where Monday is back-to-school day for every kid around the world. Access to clean water leads to better health and more time—which means more education and much brighter futures for generations to come. Learn how you can help at cwtr.org/3iwpFfR.
In the future, Gisèle dreams of becoming a police officer. She told us, “My hope is if we work hard, our life will change.” We’re inspired by Gisèle and her mom, and grateful for supporters like you who work hard to empower women around the world with clean water!
Gisèle says that she “prefers being a woman, because then I can help my mom.” But thanks to supporters like you, both Gisèle and her mom have a little bit less work to do now that clean water can easily be gathered from a tap stand near their home.
Gisèle and her mom support each other—even when the work is hard. Her mom works tirelessly to provide for her kids’ education. And, before clean water came to their community in Madagascar, Gisèle would accompany her mom on the grueling trips to collect water.

“I want to be a scientist,” Manita shared with pride. “I want to make medicines to cure the ill.” Your generosity helps make it all possible. Thank you for supporting clean water and big dreams for students like Manita.
When you give clean water, you're building a better future for kids around the world. For Manita in Nepal, clean water means having the freedom to go to school, to study math, science, English, and Nepali—and to dream a little bigger.

Collectively, kids miss 443 million days of school each year due to preventable water-related diseases. But for kids at this school in Nepal, having a @charitywater project nearby means that dirty water no longer stands in the way of their education.
When it comes to #SchoolSupplies, clean water is number one for kids around the world. It means better health, more time, and much brighter futures. We can’t wait to show you how clean water is empowering kids, teachers, and families around the world this #BackToSchool season!
Sooo if I were to take advantage of @CrowdControl again for another charity fundraiser @charitywater is running this September, what game should I play that y'all could modify with donations?

We’ll introduce a new class in 2023, but if that feels too far away (we get it!), check out our Tiny Heroes page any time your heart could use some warming. Scroll to the bottom to get ideas and inspiration for the little world-changers in your life: cwtr.org/3b3ghTz
And, of course, our biggest thanks goes to the Tiny Heroes and their phenomenal families. You help us believe in a better world. Thank you for giving your all to support clean water.
Huge thanks to @Humble_Brands and @ryleeandcru for funding projects that will bring clean water and sanitation to schools in Bangladesh and Cambodia in honor of our Tiny Heroes, and to @OxfordPennant for donating sweet camp flags for these certified world-changers.
WOW! It's been a blast celebrating the 2022 class of #charitywaterTinyHeroes this week. We hope you feel just as inspired and hopeful as we do.
We are happy to announce our partnership with @charitywater towards ensuring access to improved water supply and bringing clean and safe water to the vulnerable households of rural Uttar Pradesh through community-owned water projects and other WASH interventions. #cleanwater

That’s a wrap on the 2022 class, but not to worry! There’s a whole crew of Tiny Heroes waiting to inspire you. Get to know all 32 of these legends at cwtr.org/3b3ghTz.
Team Orange did support clean water with their donation—and even made enough to repay their startup loans. Incredible! The future is bright with these savvy entrepreneurs leading the way. Thank you all for putting your skills to work for clean water!
“All of us on Team Orange believe it is important to help others. We are very lucky to have access to clean water, and we hope other kids in the world can have this basic need.”
When it came time to select a nonprofit to support with their work, Ian, who had recently read #ThirstBook, suggested charity: water. He shared, “When we have such a clear solution to prevent such a big problem, we need to take initiative and spread the word.”
In the multi-week course offered by their Taekwondo studio, Ian, Matthew, Andrew, and David created Orange, a quirky apparel company. And this mighty team did it all: marketing, design, accounting, manufacturing, selling, and managing the whole operation.
Fundraising and clean water go together like entrepreneurship and… Taekwondo? They do when Team Orange is involved, a group of four #charitywaterTinyHeroes and martial artists with a side hustle: improving their economic and leadership skills through the Core Maker program.
I'm so incredibly touched by emails like this 😭 thank you@charitywaterr for updating me and my community ❤️✨️ and everything you do.F

Want to meet more birthday heroes like Jordan? Head over to our Tiny Heroes page to see how Charlie, Nanami, and Neekta (plus so many more!) used their birthdays to fund clean water: cwtr.org/3b3ghTz
We can’t thank you enough for going above and beyond (and then some!) for clean water, Jordan. And we’re thrilled to welcome you into the #charitywaterTinyHeroes club! May all of your birthdays be ten times as generous and memorable as this one.
Jordan shared, “I enjoy baking. This was a way I felt I could stand out. People want to do helpful things. Sometimes, they just need to hear about it in different ways. I loved seeing how people came together, and that they were so interested.”
But Jordan had other ideas. Bigger ideas. She wrote letters. Baked cookies. Made lemonade. And raised $5,000—10x the amount her parents expected! Together, they were able to sponsor an entire water project in Nepal.
Next up in our 2022 class of #charitywaterTinyHeroes: Jordan! Sure, Jordan’s a kid—but she’s an old pro when it comes to birthday fundraisers. When she decided to raise money for clean water in 2021, her parents agreed to match what she earned, thinking it’d be around $500.
Ready to meet more Tiny Heroes? Stay tuned this week. If you can’t wait, head over to Tiny Heroes central to get to know this year’s class and all 29 alumni: cwtr.org/3J7jIVK
We’re so inspired by your hard work, dedication, and business skills, Jala and Aalia. Thank you for using your next-level expertise to bring clean water to more kids and families around the world!
“A lot of people think of water as an unlimited resource that we can use freely without any consequences, when really, many people struggle to get it. People die from dirty water all the time. If we can help by sharing what we’ve earned, then we want to make sure we do.”
They told us, “Over the last year we have built cabinets, bookshelves, barbeques, desks, beds, and even gym equipment. We decided that every time we completed a job, we would give 10% to a local charity and 10% to charity: water.”
If you’ve ever tried (and failed) to assemble furniture, you’re not alone. Jala and Aalia started their business, the Flatpack Girls, to give adults a helping hand. But they wanted to do even more to help—locally and globally.
Cue: Pomp and Circumstance 🎓 It’s officially time to meet the 2022 class of#charitywaterTinyHeroess! First up: sisters Jala and Aalia from Auckland, New Zealand.1
Get ready: We've got another class of wholehearted heroes coming your way tomorrow! They didn't stop at “What if?” or say “We're just kids!” Instead, they baked. Wrote letters. Built furniture. Rallied a team. All for clean water! We’re honored to know these Tiny Heroes 🏆
The smallest among us have it all figured out. Last year, we created an annual award to celebrate 29 certified world-changers ( 👉#charitywaterTinyHeroess) who have collectively funded clean water for 45,000+ people and counting.m
Great partnership between @charitywater and @Welthungerhilfe in #Uganda. Thousands of people have now access to safe drinking water and sanitation facilities. Quality material and training will ensure long lasting use.
