A clearer & better picture of my Prunus ‘kojo-no-mai’
Not potatoes! 😆 been busy this morning going through many pots on the hunt for vine weevil. Only one or two have been found in the Dahlia pots.m
Fantastic colour inside this tulip from home.
Out if all the pests these are my arch nemesis! They have struck again at my strawberry pots!
Even though they say to chit potatoes in a light area, I have always put them in a dark area for a few days. Never failed me yet. Anyone else do it this way?
But of a blurry picture however my Amaryllis is in full dark red bloom!
Blue Anemones & tulips about to flower together in one of my door planters.
How could I not of picked up a set of one of my favourite iconic programmes. Just hope it happens though!! Where’s the saying from?
The Forsythia is beginning to come out in all its glory on this fine Friday morning.
Plenty of new cacti & succulents in!
Ranunculus have fantastic styled flowers, perfect for full sun areas in the garden, however they don’t like to much heat. They like free draining soil & soil that doesn’t stay to wet for long periods, otherwise this can rot the corm.
The Prunus ‘Kojo-no-mai’ has begun to flower, not long till spring now!
After a long week at work it was good to get out in the garden & finally plant out the Broad Beans into the veg garden. Just need to tie them in & hope for a good harvest in the months ahead.
Coronilla flowering well this morning with its delightful fragrance.
Planted in the autumn of last year, not your average Daffodil for sure but I’m not complaining! #Daffodils #Spring
The first of 30 x 1 hour Gardeners Worlds of 2021 is now all filmed. Now must be edited and assembled before broadcast next week. We have begun!
