An awkward, brave, and kind plan to rest and create some silence in the noise: brenebrown.com/articles/2022/…
“I am cringe, but I am free.” This is the most awkward, brave, and kind conversation with Pixar filmmaker and badass creator Domee Shi. bit.ly/3Fmob51
In this episode of “Dare to Lead,” Kam Franklin and I talk about what it means to lead a creative team. She explains the daily conflict that bubbles up in the creative process and how normalizing that conflict helps get to the creative magic. @TheSuffers bit.ly/3LGcgS1
So grateful to @TaranaBurke for calling me and saying, "Hey, I have an idea." And, equally grateful for the writers who shared their hearts, their stories, and their truths with the world. Happy 1 year anniversary to "You Are Your Best Thing!"
Anyone who knows me or my work knows the immeasurable influence @RichardRohrOFM has had on my life. This truly unforgettable two-part conversation left me filled to the brim with love and connection. #UnlockingUs bit.ly/3xFMt8k
This was such a critically important podcast conversation with organizational psychologist and friend @ScottSonenshein that we released it on both “Dare to Lead” and “Unlocking Us” this week. bit.ly/3uD2ud3
History. Herstory.
I love this line from @EmmanuelAcho’s new book. All of us are a little untethered right now, which means a lot of projecting our own fears and anxieties onto other people. Sometimes, if we get really quiet—quiet enough to hear ourselves—we realize we know. bit.ly/35UBaxG
It’s here. 5 episodes. 30 emotions. 1 kick-ass audience. And lots of laughter and learning. Huge thanks to @hbomax, Den of Thieves (our producers), and our team. Can’t wait to hear what you think! BB #AtlasoftheHeart hbomax.com/series/urn:hbo…
Oh, the power in knowing that pain and sorrow are also part of the path. @susancain's book “Bittersweet” is so healing. Especially now. Join us for Part 2 of this “Unlocking Us” conversation. bit.ly/3NyZYvT
In this episode of the “Dare to Lead” podcast, I’m talking with @iamjamesrhee about the transformative power of kindness at work. It blew my mind and reassured my heart. #redhelicopter bit.ly/3wNGSfF
This week’s game-changing “Dare to Lead” with @amishijha was a deep dive into focus, attention, and the myth of multitasking. Plus, I got to ask questions for a “friend,” like, Why does watching reruns of “Law & Order” help me code data and write? bit.ly/3qsPGn7
This is my fave quote from @susancain’s new book "Bittersweet." This book grabs you by the heart and doesn't let go. Join us for a 2-part convo on #UnlockingUs. We talk about about sad songs, the beauty of longing, and a little Leonard Cohen, of course. bit.ly/3Da2010
A conversation with @Chookooloonks about the practices that keep us grounded during hard times and how we can honor ourselves and the sacred rhythm of activism. bit.ly/3q3p38c
Been working on something special. Coming March 31. #atlasoftheheart @hbomax
“A toxic corporate culture is by far the strongest predictor of industry-adjusted attrition and is 10 times more important than compensation in predicting turnover.” Today, a powerful conversation with Donald and Charlie Sull on the Great Resignation. bit.ly/3Co1kVh
“Technology’s supposed to be good. We’ve just mostly been in The Empire Strikes Back period of our technology. It doesn’t have to be that way.” @karaswisher and @profgalloway of @PivotPod join me to dig into Big Tech—the good, bad, and very ugly. bit.ly/3MdmBp8
I loved this conversation on leading in an age of employee activism with @MeganReitz1 and John Higgins, particularly this caution to leaders: “Disregarding employee activists may be the equivalent of ignoring the canary in the coal mine.” bit.ly/3tahgWY
We have committed an initial $250,000 to Ukraine—$150,000 of which is already on the ground right now—for the most urgent needs, including medical supplies, food and cash. If you would like to join in supporting this continued solidarity, you can give at: TogetherRising.org/Give

Deep gratitude for all of the folks in palliative care around the world-the social workers, nurses, docs, techs, admins, everyone. These are some of the hardest edges of love. And, so often we look away from these edges until the very moment we find ourselves standing on it. ❤️
There is no such thing as gentle war. There is no peace That can’t be flung aside. Our only enemy is that which would Make us enemies to each other.

Regardless of enforceability, Abbott and Paxton’s actions against trans youth politicizes people’s lives for gain. Turning care givers and teachers into reporters is a fear tactic reminiscent of historic demonization and witch hunts. All people are worthy of love and belonging.

Never surprised to see Abbott, Paxton, and Patrick courting Texas extremists out of fear - they’ve never been brave or well-informed leaders. But their collective capacity for cruelty still stuns. I stand with the trans communities across Texas. twitter.com/GBBranstetter/…
Can we heal the world without healing ourselves? @shawnginwright says no. He lays out a provocative new approach to reimagining justice in his new book, “The Four Pivots.” He’s bringing the fire in our convo on “Unlocking Us.” A healing fire. 🔥bit.ly/3BI7Y8BiG
An unbelievable conversation with one of my very favorite people: @debbiemillman. We talk about everything from worthiness and readiness to design and the best Barbra Streisand story ever. brenebrown.com/podcast/why-de…
I can’t tell you how much I loved today's “Unlocking Us” with @JasonReynolds83. His new book is breathtaking, and his words wrap themselves around your heart and squeeze. They heal but also push and pull and ask really hard questions. bit.ly/3JAG5lE
Loved this conversation with @DanielPink on his new book. Regret is a tough but important teacher. brenebrown.com/podcast/the-po…

A final update on the podcast pause. I appreciate this community and everyone's willingness to wade through the tough conversations. brenebrown.com/articles/2022/…
1. I can’t wait for #Bittersweet! It’s incredible and as life affirming as “Quiet” 2. I probably don’t need to tell you this because we’re in the same sad song fan club, but the list won’t be complete without “Ne me quitte pas” by Jacques Brel ❤️❤️❤️ twitter.com/susancain/stat…
Our org-wide #Wordle channel on @SlackHQ is the best. We’re distributed all over the country, but I can hear the collective laughter. It’s not just the scores - it’s the commentary. #229 is especially funny.
I will not be releasing any podcasts until further notice. To our #UnlockingUs and #DaretoLead communities, I’m sorry and I'll let you know if and when that changes. Stay awkward, brave, and kind. ❤️👊🏼❤️
“Unlocking Us” is back—and starting with a deep dive into values. I can’t think of a more powerful way to double down on ourselves than getting clear on our values. (P.S. Head to our home page for the exercise Barrett and I work through in this episode.) spoti.fi/3Ay5Kbh
I know I’ve tweeted this before, but I’m going to do it again - thank you @PeterHotez and team for this amazing work! #Ibelieveinscience #TMC twitter.com/PeterHotez/sta…

We’ll be back with new podcasts the week of January 24. In the meantime, enjoy this amazing two-parter with @JamesClear, author of “Atomic Habits,” which ran on “Dare to Lead” last year. If you’re trying to create new habits, this is the place to start. spoti.fi/3thF7pn
Finding our way back to ourselves and each other is not the stuff of resolutions. It’s the raw material of a revolution. Thank you @lauriesantos for this conversation. happinesslab.fm/2022-new-year-…
In the first episode of the new season, I chat with the amazing @BreneBrown about how we can better identify and label our emotions, and why doing so more carefully can help us navigate our feelings better. podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/how… (2/3)

This book was so tough. Endless unlearning, relearning + challenging what I thought I knew. I can’t believe it’s finally out in the world. I can’t believe this @amazonbooks billboard in NYC. To our awkward, brave and kind community. Thank you. ❤️🗺❤️9
Thank you to @upstatement for the new brenebrown.com! Y’all crushed it! ❤️ twitter.com/upstatement/st…
Grateful for this community! I am going to take a couple weeks off to rest, read, disappear into British mysteries, and play lots of pickleball. I wish you all a very happy holiday season. See you in 2022! XO, BB
