Penne with tomato and roasted red pepper sauce, eggplant, basil and oregano. I serve this with a side of fresh ricotta swirled with black olive paste also known as tapenade. It’s great the next day too. #wecook @FoodNetwork
Porchetta. A boneless pork loin wrapped w a layer of pork belly, scored & tied &cooked slowly on the rotisserie so the skin gets golden & crunchy. I served it with a mixture of coarsely chopped herbs like parsley, oregano, mint, basil, garlic, capers, anchovy & olive oil.#wecook
Buttermilk Biscuits with Creme Fraiche. When unexpected guests show up for breakfast! These are 5 ingredients: flour, baking powder, baking soda , butter, buttermilk. 14 min in oven & Magic! I had blueberries so I put them in a saucepan, sprinkled sugar & cooked them into a jam.
When your friend @chefsymon drops off freshly caught tuna and you break out the soy sauce, sesame oil, ginger, garlic and lime to make a sauce, slice a few ripe avocados 🥑 and then scatter some sesame seeds on top#wecookk@FoodNetworkks
Sometimes when I want an egg & it’s not with a side of bacon or a roll with sausage &cheese, I make pizza dough & “sauce” & use it as a vehicle for a perfectly fried egg! This one has tomato sauce, basil, mozzarella, Calabrian Chiles & Parmigiano. one day rise on dough. #wecook

St Louis Style Pork Ribs. 4 hours on @BigGreenEgg w charcoal & soaked cherry wood chips. I made rub w paprika, dry mustard, coriander, allspice, clove, chile powder, brown sugar, s+p. rubbed well on top only. Smoked & turned 1x 3 hours in. finish wBBQ sauce for last 30 min.Enjoy!

This dish is total inspiration from my memories on the Amalfi Coast in Southern Italy. My favorite place to eat in the world is Ristorante Lo Scoglio. The pesto idea is from a beach shack called Da Adolfo on the beach 10 minutes away. More info in the photos below #wecook

Chicken Piccata. If you have a repertoire of 5 dishes in your kitchen arsenal this should be 1. I’m always excited to jump into a crispy chicken cutlet covered in a lemony, capery sauce that give you that side of your jaw tartness you can’t get enough of. Recipe below #wecook
Purple Sweet Potatoes w Chermoula + Honey. Peel sweet potatoes, cut in wedges, season w s+p, roast at 400F for 30 min. Cut into 2 inch pieces, dress w chermoula, honey + fresh parsley. I got chermoula @BotanicaFoods in LA but you can make your own. @epicurious has a good recipe.
