Grateful for her survival she later lamented in an interview how her father Shaheed Zulfikar Ali Bhutto never got a chance to see any of his children married nor meet any of his grandchildren. Today would have been Shaheed #BenazirBhutto first birthday as a grandmother herself 💔
Post Oct 18th 2007, SMBB mentioned how her survival was due to the bravery of her Janisars (young PPP volunteers for her secuirty) that defied human instinct and ran towards her truck after the first bomb blast & acted as a human shield that protected her from the second blast.
Terrorist, dictators & cowards have assassinated her. But, she lives on in the hearts & minds of the people of her country & across the world. In life she was Benazir, in death she is Benazir. To her assassins we say; “Tum zinda ho kr murda ho, wo mar kr phir bhi zinda hai.” 2/3
