For personal use I end up with @obsdmd (similar to Roam). But for everyone else, I end up pointing them to Notion. Structure, browser access and GUI gets people. @saurabh is there a mid-path here? I am still struggling to retrieve my notes on the phone with Obsidian.
Say what you may, CRED definitely has one of the best design animations out there

As a result, during my only employee stint, I was clear, my leaving changes nothing. This allowed me to be more positive in my handover actions. My thesis is that individuals who do poor hand-overs during exit, overestimate their importance & hence cannot help their actions.
Tried Idlicious. Idlicious on par with Anna Idli for me. Anna Idli could do with less oil in everything though. @PrernaSangeeta Seems sold on Idlicious. We need to do that food walk. 10th Dec weekend? @NGKabra @meetalks @rohit11 @mukulneetika @asuph twitter.com/annkur/status/…
As an entrepreneur, during my first stint I would always be scared about single person dependencies. We sure under invest in systems but over estimate dependence on key people.
Ran into a retired GM of a large insurance company. We started chatting & guess what, he tells me that most companies are overstaffed and people always underestimate how resilient they are. Often people think some senior folks leaving would mean doom. Doesn't happen in practice.
One of the best things about @pradeepbv is that the lag between discussion and execution is non existent.
Are there any estimates of how well a referral plan converts? What kind of conversion numbers should a fintech expect from referrals?

May be I am reading it wrong, but I was far more effective when I was judgemental of everything and everyone. What am I getting wrong here?
@annkur The biggest barrier to success a small town person carries is the fear that they will embarrass themselves in rooms they don't belong in so they never walk into those rooms or never speak up. You need to tell yourself that your embarrassing shit does not matter in the long run.

After "HANGRY" (Hungry + Angry), I think "WONGRY" can also be introduced into our vocabulary. Work-pending + Angry.

The matrix wants you eating factory food and sitting at your office desk under fluorescent lights all day. Netflix and snacking at night Then it prescribes drugs or surgery to deal with the consequences. And it wants you to pay for it. Get the picture? Escape the matrix

99% of Twitter users never encounter a bot. When Elon replied to one of my tweets on Saturday, I received 10,000 crypto spam notifications over the next 24 hours. Paid verification solves a very specific problem—for a very specific user.

When I started investing in the stock market in the 80s, many told me that I was gambling, and I should keep my savings in the bank.

Savings: 30% is a good savings rate but not a mandatory one. Buffett was right - spend what you have after you save.

Met at least half a dozen people who have gone on some or other official trip to NYC, or EU, or somewhere, on some pretense because "travel budgets are going away, using it while it lasts". The fact that wasting employer's money leads to mass layoffs is a bit lost on them.
