I've always loved her personal essays, & how they made me reflect on myself. @natashabadhwar joins me in episode 301 of The Seen and the Unseen to talk about her life and her work: seenunseen.in/episodes/2022/… This is my longest episode -- & one of my favourites conversations!

This is a wise thread. I quit the corporate world for good 15 years ago, so no layoffs in my life, but this bit about thought separation sounds fantastic to me. The next time I feel low, I'll try that. twitter.com/parrysingh/sta…

My new earworm is @raman_negi's beautiful Lullaby for the Anxious Bones: youtube.com/watch?v=jZgal0… Gorgeous production by @g_chintamani, who also edits Seen/Unseen. Now I'm feeling guilty for inflicting my bland voice on him!

One day, you'll be able to take a vacation in space. And it might not be all that awesome. The latest edition of Windowpane is this lovely short story by Pritha Choudhuri: windowpane.substack.com/p/go-wherever-…

What a conversation! One of my favourite personal essayist @natashabadhwar shows us how reflecting on our lives, relationships, and everyday occurrences can actually teach us so much about life and the world! If there’s one thing you listen to today, let it be this ❤️ twitter.com/amitvarma/stat…

This is what @amitvarma is and is helping others to become. All of us have ideas (vision) but we lack the determination and don’t foresee the practical aspects of implementing those ideas. Be a Shaper.

It's sad to see the amount of toxic hate this tweet is getting. @AgnesCallard is a brilliant philosopher and probably a damn good parent. And sugar is poison. It's so sad how Twitter brings out the worst in us. twitter.com/AgnesCallard/s…
Thank you! It is indeed a story we must tell more often. The most successful Gandhian movement was by Muslim Pashtuns...who would have thought! We need a film, children's book, graphic novel... twitter.com/drcbjee/status…

when a conversation is as honest, reflective and vulnerable as this one, it persuades you to be the same while listening. One can only hope to look back at one's life - with the same integrity. twitter.com/amitvarma/stat…

I've listened to many episodes of #TSATU by @amitvarma . This one with @natashabadhwar is amongst the most vulnerable, authentic and moving for me. This conversation worked like #therapy as I journeyed thru the 5+ hours of myriad emotions, experiences and conversation twitter.com/amitvarma/stat…

What a wonderful episode. @pbmehta is an astute and composed thinker. What I really like about his approach is that he is never certain or glib in his reflections. Such a rare trait today. As always, thanks for these gems @amitvarma twitter.com/amitvarma/stat…

This evening I got around to @amitvarma's conversation with @pbmehta, undoubtedly one of our big contemporary thinkers (who are anyway rare in India). Paused after 40 minutes. Such a deep exchange deserves early morning attention and a fresh mind. Highly recommended.

While making notes just now, I wrote the phrase, 'the erosure of institutions.' There's no word like erosure. I meant erosion. Or maybe erasure? Could something in between the process of erosion & the condition of erasure be called erosure? In that case, I used the right word!
