it's amazing how much we reward silence in women. what is it, christian ideology? demure Virgin Mary? look how we expect it of the women in the royal family. shut up and put up. I honestly think people were just shocked to hear Nazanin speak. they prefer a voiceless victim. twitter.com/supertanskiii/…
Finally luxuriated in @bigsmashkierla's extraordinary documentary 'Woodlands Dark & Days Bewitched' which digs deep into the history of folk horror from all over the globe. The breadth of it is quite astounding, even horror experts will have a new must watch list afterwards.
oh no. I adored Peter Bowles. rom a childhood crush in to The Manor Born, to surprise discovery of his earlier work and versatility twitter.com/DailyMailUK/st…
I do think we need to re-think the model from the perspective of sales too though. how many surprise hits had completely unknown stars? and tv is proving this all the time. it's depressing when it comes down to this. just killing projects
actors and stars. if you believe in art for art's sake. put yourselves where your mouth is. indie film dies without you. (and arguably film itself. because what else feeds the film industry if not indies?) twitter.com/rebfive/status…
I have to post this lookalike because it was irking me all the way through Euphoria and now I'm so relieved I worked it out. Nancy Allen and Sydney Sweeney

'Ali & Ava' debuted to just £106,000 in the UK this weekend, which is very low and a frightening prospect to fellow indie films looking to counter-programme big releases.
See it now, because by Friday it will likely be removed from listings.
Happy international women’s day ! Not only is our podcast 50% woman but we like to feature horror made by women .

The sneaky avaricious long slumbering old dragon decimates a town of men, but is surprised by their fight back. One leader, however, is cowardly. "He may have a head for business-especially his own business," some murmured, "but he is no good when anything serious happens!"
Gavin Williamson, who was sacked by Theresa May over allegations of leaking information from a National Security Council meeting and then sacked by Boris Johnson after presiding over the exams and school closure fiascos, given a knighthood for his services to the nation.
This producer was a dream. Reading about him and his involvement with Thelma & Louise, he saw original talent, facilitated it, and stood back to watch and let it grow. And look at the results. Where does one find a Laddie? They don't make them like that so often. RIP Laddie twitter.com/THR/status/149…

oh, this is😂. he cannot help but crawl out and demand adoration for every "wrong" thing he's done (his quotation marks there, done with fingers). he needs to be adored. congratulated. thanked. treated like a hero. main character syndrome.twitter.com/mrjimBob/statu…z
for anyone who needs it, an entry on goddess Miranda Richardson's wikipedia page: 'Richardson's hobbies include dog walking, gardening and falconry, and she started playing the cello in 2013. She trains a falcon named Cassiopeia.'

it's no way to make a legacy is it? a failure of an invasion. he made the fatal error of thinking even his own people would back this. but this is what makes me fear he will press the button. humiliation. a vandal. pure vandalism
I am agog that for some people the penny is only just dropping that Russia were complicit in the Vote Leave campaign that saw UK abandon its alliance with the European Union.
It had nothing to so with bent bananas and pounds & ounces and everything to do with making us weaker.

If you’re waking up, it’s worse than anyone imagined. Strikes across entire country. So much of this is on us. We laundered Putin’s money. We provided safe harbour for his chums. And in 2016, when he attacked the US & UK elections, we played dumb & covered it up.

what's weird about it, is when you act with a male star who's your age (playing an ancient troll, or nanny or maiden aunt or just 'beast'), and their love interest is like 12. their wives, their real life wives/partners are actually their age too. it's embarrassing for them often twitter.com/EleanorMorton/…
