A group of students and parents visiting Afghanistan from California are now stranded and unable to make it back. "We still have five families remaining with... 14 students of ours and 8 of their parents or uncles that are still on hold," says superintendent David Miyashiro.
"We could hear shooting and sirens from the airport," says journalist Matthieu Aikins of the scene of the attacks in Kabul. "We went back to the emergency hospital, and they were bringing the casualties in there. There was just body after body. It was a really terrible sight."
