After looking like it was for sure on a collision course with eastern Long Island, #Henri has come in farther east. This puts Rhode Island in the path for its landfall. The wind will be maximized there
Tropical Storm #Henri is likely to make landfall in Rhode Island in the next few hours. Although wind impacts will be maximized there, heavy rain and flooding impacts will stretch from the Catskills and Poconos to New Jersey, the Hudson Valley and much of New England.
Peak inundation, so far, at Montauk, NY is ~2 feet above normally dry ground. That barely qualifies as minor #flooding, there.
Water levels ~ 1.5 to 2 feet above normal tides along RI coast, right now. #Henri

Feeling a little like fall this weekend. The first half of Saturday will be cloudy with morning drizzle along the coast & South Sound. Late day clearing, & you may see a little haze in the North Sound high in the sky. A few spotty showers Sunday. #WeatherDude
Fall Friday? It'll certainly seem like it. We'll have clouds most of #TGIF & a few spotty showers. It won't amount to much rainfall. Although we'll get some isolated thunderstorms along the east side of the Cascades that will produce brief heavy downpours & lightning #WeatherDude
