The press conference with ARU CEO Bill Pulver and captain Michael Hooper in Brisbane has ended.
Pulver: I am concerned about the way a #Wallabies coach was treated and I'm disappointed in the way this has ended up.
Bill Pulver says he endorses Hooper's comments. Says he doesn't have any evidence that the players have lost confidence in the coach
Pulver: I did not expect Ewen McKenzie to resign yesterday. I don't even know who can get on a plane on Friday
Pulver: I did not speak to any coach about taking up the option of the @QantasWallabies coaching role
Hooper: I don't think Ewen lost the respect of the players to be honest. We play for everyone as a whole. You have to respect his decision
