The Lakers haven't yet decided who will represent the team at the lottery. Internal discussions are on-going, but no final decision.
Likely that LAL have have at worst No. 6/7 pick, w/a chance of moving up in lottery. Kupchak said in Feb. there could be 10 elite players.

A lot of what happens draft-wise won't start until the order is set at the May 20th lottery. LAL is allowed to bring prospects in 2 times.

LAL could use some of that space, but keep its flexibility until the player they really want for the future is available/attainable.
