For some, this is final week of summer before school begins. High pressure keeps rain chances at virtually zero.

This should be the most amount of rain many in the Boston/metrowest area have seen in while.
Humidity levels increase today making way for some overnight showers.
Models showing very little rain for the eastern part of MA with Sunday night showers.
Mainly nice this morning. Satellite shows big thunderstorm south of Block Island.
Rain will be heaviest in northern & western New England Sunday night. Dry weather returns during Monday morning.

There could be a quick sprinkle or shower in Connecticut late afternoon evening that makes it to south of Boston.
Saturday is my pick this weekend, Sunday looks good too, but p.m. clouds could arrive.
Current drought index widely used only goes back to 1999, but this summer is likely similar to 1965 for much of NE.
Tropical storm #Fiona will remain out at sea through at least early next week. Poses no threat to land for now.

In spite of some rain the past week, extreme drought area has expanded. Some areas marginally better, but barely.
Weather tonight for @billyjoel & @Patriots look equally nice. Low humidity w/ pleasant temps falling into the 70s.
Quick moving system bringing clouds and brief sprinkle/shower will pass and sunshine returns this morning.
Not bad in spite of the critters eating more than ever.
Nice days ahead for enjoying summer. Next rain chance Monday. Slight chance pop-up shower Thurs, but n.b.d.
