In Japan, they accept that if someone is good at 1 thing, they can be good at other things. Example: successful actor being a good painter.
This in turn hampers our growth as a people.
Society's closed mindedness penalizes & discourages our best creatives from pursuing new directions.
Making money at art means doing the same style repeatedly, yet many artists need to constantly try new styles and techniques.
